Sunset Roma

The location, just up the road from the Colosseum, easy access to buses and the metro, plus a short walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other attractions make it perfect for a break. The area is lived in by locals with excellent restaurants and bars. The view from the rooms is nothing to write home about but then this makes you leave and explore the area.

Our stay at Sunset Roma was terrific close to Colosseum and other sites and the neighbourhood was wonderful full of restaurants, cafes and small shops without feeling too "touristy". The host Andrea was extremely helpful . We had two rooms including an upgrade to an apt with kitchen. Modern bathrooms ; We will definitely stay there again on future trips

This is my second stay at Sunset Roma, previously I stayed at different hotels everytime I visited Rome but now that I've discovered Sunset Roma it is my first choice in Rome. It is close to the city center and near many good restaurants and wine bars. The rooms have great bathrooms, very modern with large shower enclosures, The owner is very helpful .

Fantastic 4 night stay in the large apartment. Room is well appointed, clean & comfortable. Great residential central Rome neighborhood location, just 1 block from a main shopping street, seven minute walk from the train station, and within 15 min walk of all the main sightseeing spots. Great spot to be able to easily enjoy all that Rome has to offer. Three great locals restaurants within a 2 min walk. Each was delicious and inexpensive. On-site management was super friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything or had any question. Only negative at all is the apartment is up 3 flight is stairs. No elevator. It wasn't an issue for us, even with my wife's injured foot, but some might find it difficult. The apartment wasn't as luxurious as some high end hotels, with beautiful finishes, but is also quite a lot larger than a hotel room, which more than made up for any lacking of luxury. I loved the apartment, the location is unbeatable, and would stay there again in a heart beat! Seeing the Coliseum right down the street was pretty cool too. Very active neighborhood with lots of nightlife within a block or so.
