Hotel Scalinata di Spagna

I really cannot imagine a better place to stay! The location was beautiful, the breakfast delicious and the staff was spectacular. When we return to Rome we will most definitely stay here! A special thank you to the lovely ladies serving breakfast! They made each day start with a smile!

Great location at top of Spanish Steps. Easy to get to by subway, walk to many of the famous Rome sights, restaurants, shopping from here. Breakfast was typical continental, ok. The hotel room was clean and fine. Bath was tiny but ok. The biggest issue I had is that the walls are paper thin and noise travels everywhere. The guy in room behind me had a sneezing attack and I said ‘bless you’ and looked around thinking he was in the room. Could hear people walking in their rooms, doors opening a distance away. If you are a light sleeper it might not be the best place.

We absolutely loved this property, it was everything we had hoped for and everything we didn’t even know we would love. We planned our first vacation to Rome as a family vacation with two adults and two preteens. We all had such a wonderful stay and if we come back to Rome, we most definitely will return to this property. I’ve never experienced such friendly and approachable staff; everyone was truly wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was fabulous. The location was great and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had nothing but a great experience and have already recommended this property to family and friends. We can’t wait until we return. Thank you!!

My spouse and I were staying for 4 nights in the appendix building (with amazing balcony to piazza di spagna). The room is clear and well reserved. Great location, staff, and breakfast.

AMAZING LOCATION AT THE TOP OF THE SPANISH STEPS! CLOSE TO GOOD RESTUARANTS AND GREAT SHOPPING.

Stayed in Villa Borghese suite and had a fantastic view of the Spanish steps from room. One small suggestion is to improve the breakfast and to ensure the items are fully stocked and available until end of breakfast time.

Great location,right at the top of the Spanish Steps. Walking distance to shopping,restaurants,sites-a little noisy due to the proximity of the crowds at the Steps,but not so much to keep you awake at night. No restaurant in-house,but a good breakfast in the lovely upstairs rooftop (enclosed)dining area.

Very nice hotel in a very nice location. Be aware many steps to reach hotel and many more to reach your room, as lift not working. A/c not working in room, though it wasn’t a big problem as November, and window broken but still working, just.

Gorgeous property right by the Spanish Steps. We were so close to everything we needed. The staff and owner of the hotel are so warm and accommodating. We loved our stay!

looks just like the pictures really nice place. Staff super friendly. Perfect location to everything. My only 1 thing. its a non issue to most but they only give one key for the room that gets put into a slot to make the ac and the lights to work in the room. My thing is if one person has to leave they cant take a key so if your sleeping or showering you dont have the other key option you have to answer the door. Otherwise everything is perfect wonderful room beautiful bathroom
