Residence Inn Providence Coventry

The name of on the property and the name on the bill was not the same that's the only problem I had

Had an awesome time so did my kids service was excellent

Checkin was horrid the person was not available upon arrival, my son in law was treated badly simply because his name was not mentioned on the checkin. They were rude and stated where is the credit card for incidental charges. The pool was heated ,but no heat in the pool room. They said they were working on it. This was the day of a major snow storm. They ruined my daughters wedding weekend and didn’t seem to care. I called the following Monday and witnessed some of the same treatment I ended up screaming at her and I have never spoken to anyone like that before. This was the same attitude I experienced on Friday prior to their arrival. They told agent at hotels.com they did not get an email, or fax and manager was unavailable at a meeting. The king size suite bed was a queen.

Fantastic and will stay at this hotel again

It's not a luxury place, but that's not what I would expect for a hotel at this price point anyway. Check-in was super fast and easy, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Not sure when it was built, but everything looked to be fairly new. There is a nice exercise room and pool, and an outdoor basketball court. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend asking for a room away from the outdoor courtyard. The night I was there, it was warm, so a large group of college athletes were out there until very late, and the room was not soundproof.
