Hidden gem! Gorgeous, quality remodel on this homey property. Norine communicates well through text, promptly answering questions and taking care of guests’ needs. The pictures don’t do this one justice. Delightful!

After a busy summer with no much time to take a week's vacation we had the opportunity to escape for a few days to Jamestown, NY and stayed at Nora's Nest. This home is very clean and tastefully decorated. The fishing dock was completed upon our arrival and we enjoyed fishing several hours each morning. Didn't catch any trophy fish but lots of action catching a variety of fish. If you have children they certainly won't have to wait long to reel one in. The house is in close proximity to downtown Jamestown, Lake Chautauqua and about a 30 minute drive to Seneca Alleghany Casino. Ed was quick to come over to give us instructions on how to operate the TV (a problem we have everywhere we go.because we're Smart TV illiterate). This house was perfect for our getaway.

Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. Easy access yo Chautauqua Lake. It was very quiet. Can fish from the babk but the dock was broken so you cannot get in on site. Nora Nest is a return visit for sure

We really enjoyed our stay at Ed and Norine's. The place was immaculately cleaned and beautifully done. Eventhough you are *in town* it doesn't feel like it when you look at that water front. They were responsive when we had questions and we even stayed and extra day! The house was well stocked, though I had to hunt for cleaning supplies and things like toilet paper. My only real complaint was how the photos make it appear like there is a dock, but it is half sunken in. This was quite a shock to the avid fishers in my family who were lookin forward to fishing. You won't be able to get out there without chest high waders. If Ed and Norine continue the wonderful work that they did on the house, repairing the deck, I could see this becoming a yearly spot for us. The lake was wonderful. We rented pontoon and fishing boats. The house had games and plenty of outdoor seating which kept is enjoy the deck even during the rainy days. Highly recommended, unless waterfront access is a big draw, then there might be some disappointment.

I don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay. We walked into a very clean, beautiful home. Ed and Norine left cookies for us to enjoy and plenty of information about the area and local restaurants. It is located on a quiet little spot on the water. It's very close to so much! The beach, Bemus Point, Midway State Park, and so much more. The TV also has cable and a few apps which came in handy during a rain storm our first night. The bedrooms are both very nice and a good size. We were able to fit an air mattress and Porta crib for our children in the bigger bedroom. And there are plenty of outlets in the bedrooms which comes in handy! It was overall just a very pleasant stay, and we definitely plan on coming for another stay, hopefully a longer one next time!

House was very clean and comfortable. Loved the porches and easy access to bike/walk path. Some commercial noise from nearby businesses but otherwise very peaceful! Ed and Norine were great hosts.

Tucked away on the river next to the bike trail, I enjoyed the bullfrogs and crickets at night. I haven't heard those since my childhood. The owners were so helpful and communicative. It's a great place if you want to spend time on the water or just relax. We aren't big boaters, but just watching all the canoes, kayaks and boats go by was so relaxing. It was very quiet and private. Just what I wanted! I hope to go back!
