The Kendall Hotel

Everything was good 😌 but the breakfast was very poor. Menus not good , no bread or bagels, no juice, I asked them replied it’s finished by 8am. My kids very upset 😢 .

Going to Boston for medical appts we wanted a hotel close by. The ratings for The Kendall were great, FREE parking unheard of in much of Boston and complimentary breakfast was alluring. But the staff that we talked to on the phone, Eric, ask for a late checkout was so kind and helpful, the young lady that we text at the front desk was delightful and also helpful, the hotel and room SPOTLESS and appeared new. There was also a SAFE and cozy wine tasting for us in front of the fire. No one else in sight! Located by Kendall Square and close to Harvard Square there are tons of cafes and restaurants avail for takeout. We took our delish Thai dinner back to the closed hotel dining room and had a lovely evening! I can't recommend The Kendall Hotel highly enough on all levels! AND WE FELT 100% COVID SAFE! Thank you for making all of the provisions to address our new world. We will return!

Perfect location for MIT. Great decor and comfortable bed and pillows. Rooms pretty quiet & enjoyed the atrium area. Could take some time to get in touch with reception.

From check in to check out nothing but good things to say. Great best care practices and a pair of Dalmatian slippers. We are an older couple and felt very safe and secure. Would recommend to everyone.

Warm and welcoming, seemed very clean, convenient if a little tight parking directly downstairs included. Smallish room in very good condition with table and chair. Though it seemed to be a somewhat older HVAC system, it was QUIET which is often not the case as they cycle off and on. We were able to adjust room temp just as we liked it. The hallways did not seem to be heated but this did not affect comfort of room at all. Lobby is quiet and mostly empty due to pandemic. Was not expecting much for breakfast (included) and it was just a basic grab-and-go or sit in the lobby. Would like to return in warmer times with more to do around town.

What an amazing hotel The Kendall is!! I came to visit friends and family and choose to stay here because of the location as well as the unique character of the hotel. It is a former firehouse and the decore is a lovely mix of US history, museum quality whimsy and firehouse charm. There is a lovely sitting area with a fireplace as well as a specatcular and private 7th floor lounge/business area that is a perfect place to gather with a few friends. Every thing was kept super clean. But what really made The Kendall special is the staff, especially Brenda who went out of her way to give me an upgrade to a super special suite. Highly recommend and I will stay there again no doubt!

This is a gem of a hotel. Comfiest beds and pillows, adorable Americana decor that isn’t too kitschy and a Dyson hairdryer. Would highly recommend. Staff is incredibly kind and the breakfast buffet is well done, even in a pandemic.

A very pleasant surprise, reasonably priced and one of the nicer small hotels we've ever been! Very comfortable room and bed! Will definitely be back!
