Ok hotel to stay one or two nights

It wasn't as bad as the reviews were protraying. We were nervous but when we got there, it was a normal hotel room. Yes, their is mold in the bathroom, cigarette burns on the blanket, and stains on the sheets but if you are only staying for a night or two it was a place to stay. TV didn't work but within 5 minutes of checking in they fixed it. Short on towels. For two queen beds they gave us one towel, we asked for more and got more. The room smelled but we bought air spray and sprayed it in the room as well as the hallway. Overall it was quiet. Checking in was a little rough. Clerk was rude (she was stressed) but once I started joking with her, she relaxed and was wonderful with meeting our needs. Breakfast was non existent. They had muffins and cookies mixed together. No juice.

The bed spread & bedsheets were stained, looked very dirty. Reported it to the front desk, the lady said they were clean, just stained. Not a good appearance; replace them immediately. Lack of bath towels. The inner face of the room was clean but is very old and in need of a serious upgrade and the one cup coffee maker must go; travelers need more than one cup of coffee at a time. The outside atmosphere was not safe. A lot of homeless people sleeping on and/or conjuring the sidewalks directly in front of this property. It's not their fat the have no where to go but it makes guests apprehensive to be around them. There is not enough lighting, around the outside of the property, especial in the parking lot all the way around the building.

The girl at the front desk was clearly rude and on drugs along with the rest of the staff. The elevator button was broke and all the convenient dispensers didn't work. The room was filfty and someone kept going in and out slamming thw door all hours. id like my money back

Room was fair lumps of hair in bathtub and sink, Staff service good. Limited Breakfast. Needed salt and pepper for boiled egg. Limited choices for kids.. no Juice no creamer. Expected more for the price.

Bathroom in room 208 was dirty, shower curtain rod was falling off the wall, shower curtain was torn and filthy, mold was growing on the bathroom ceiling. 2 of the lamps in the room did not function. The room wasn’t ready at check in time. I asked for a late checkout the morning of departure and the staff member did say I would have to check out at 11:30. She was quite abrupt and rude. It was a nice size room and beds were comfy.

Friendly staff & huge rooms

The front desk help was very nice. The hotel was filthy I had to vacuum and clean out the refrigerator and spray and wipe down the wall by the sink. Shower curtain had something all over the inside of it you could tell it literally had not been switched out for probably 6 months it was so filthy. Two of the towels were dingy and had stains on them. The fleece under blanket had cigarette burns all over it and should hv been thrown out there were a few public hairs in the tub and the wall heater had dirt all over it so did the window tracts. The only nice thing was the room was huge abd the front desk service was nice. The maids said they arent paid a minimum hourly wage and that they aren’t independent contractors so they arent paid fairly. This is the third super 8 Ive stayed in stayed in that was managed by middle eastern people and the properties are filthy and disgusting. I’ll never EVER stay in another property ran by a middle eastern. 3rd time is a charm. First one was super 8 by Salem Oregon 2nd one was super 8 in Coos bay Oregon and now this one. Other then that I love the little city of Oroville there’s a lot of history there. Cool little shops, gorgeous park, Chinese temple that was cool and fish hatchery. I hate to leave a bad review because I know that property and state taxes along with the plandemic are really crushing businesses but I have to do it. This is a look at socialism and it’s not pretty.

The bathroom door in Rm 102 had a defective doorknob. One could lock himself inside and not be able to get out without help from another! Also, the breakfast area was missing several items, including the juice dispenser, napkins, and the "milk dispenser"; it was reduced to being a fridge with gallon jugs of milk resting inside. It worked, but that should not be so in a room costing $160 per night!

Over price and not a clean hotel

For the price, there are homeless people around the property which I don't feel safe parking the rental car, the elavator was not working, the hotel were not clean and my room was not clean. I did not feel safe staying there.
