We enjoyed the peace and quiet!! Daughters enjoyed kayaking!! Cabin is very comfortable but extremely remote so prepare for all food and supplies!! Lake views and sunsets beautiful!!!

Our family had a wonderful time this weekend. The host were so kind and easy to communicate with. The home is remote, which we loved! Our kids had a blast kayaking, swimming, and exploring! We would definitely visit again! Thanks for our sweet gift basket, our kids loved it! So thoughtful!

The place was awesome, and the online description and pictures were spot on! It is remote, but that is exactly what we were looking for. Mike and his family were absolutely wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. We had a blast and hope to return during the summer next year.

I will say that I have stayed at well over 50 VRBO properties in the last 10-15 years, and this was probably my favorite. The homeowner was extremely helpful, and even let me use his Kawasaki Mule to easily get around the extensive property. Everything was thought of and the house had all that I needed. No need to get soap, shampoo, laundry detergent...even phone charging cables...it was all there. Was alone this time, but hope to come back with my wife soon enough!

It was our second time at the property and it was amazing! Having a deck by the water and paddle boards were such a nice addition. We love how relaxing and private the property is and can’t wait to come back again!

Sometimes you need a mini-adventure in the midst of continued pandemic mayhem! My husband and I had a wonderful time getting away from it all to this little cabin in the woods. You can really just relax here! The water view from the top of the hill is absolutely stunning at sunset. The cabin was thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a few days away. As remote as the destination is, service was great so if you would like to remote work, it is completely feasible. Both my spouse and myself had to take a few work calls and zoom meetings. *A few recommendations to enhance your stay: Stop at Walmart on your way in, which is approximately 45 minutes away. We traveled in an SUV so gravel roads were not an issue for the last few miles to our destination. Bring bug spray (they did a great job with plenty of citronella candles and zappers but if you like to hike!) Owners do have a boat rental and their son thoughtfully assisted us with this process and we had the best time on the water (thanks again!) Crowd was non-existent post-Labor Day.

Don’t think twice!! This place was like a hidden gem! I just stumbled across the listing & I’m %1,000 happy that I did! The owners are so kind and accommodating. You can tell they actually care about you and the time you spend here. The lovely gift basket that was waiting for us was just the cherry on top! The cabin & views are absolutely gorgeous! This place has everything you could possibly need! All we brought were clothes & groceries. The cabin was pristine & smelled SOOO good when we arrived. I wish my house smelled half as good. The front porch was like a little slice of heaven. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the bed swing & lounge chairs around the fire pits & cooking on the grills. & all of the candles & bug lights were well thought out to ensure comfortability & bug control. The Mule was extremely convenient for getting to & from the lake since the cabin is up on the hill. The dock by the lake was perfect! We loved the paddle boards & Lilly pad. The lake is amazing, clean, & clear compared to the lakes where we’re from. They also rent out a ski boat with tubes, skis, etc. which we rented for a day as well. My boys absolutely loved that! Our favorite part was how remote & secluded the property was tucked back in the wilderness. We saw tons of wildlife, which just adds to the experience. Absolutely 10/10 would recommend & hope to return. I have already had TONS of requests to share this listing after posting pics from our trip!

This was by far the best vacation! The owners of the property are so nice and always there if there are any questions or concerns. They definitely go above and beyond what they have to. The kids had a blast and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place. Beautiful view, friendly people, and peaceful.
