Wyndham Garden Miami International Airport

Location is great for those needing a quick ride to the airport. Hotel is very clean and new. I believe it’s still working out kinks as it is a new hotel, plus COVID adjustments. Staff was extremely kind, personable, professional and super helpful. The marketing says there is a shuttle and breakfast, there was not. This really needs to be updated.

MAY BE TOO NEW. Still working out the kinks. Key system was out for 2 days and they did not give us a chance to cancel until we arrived late at night. Should have told us as soon as they knew. Literally had to get a security guard to meet you at your room each time you wanted to get back in your room. Exercise room did not have key pad on it yet so security guard was needed the whole time for that. Will be nice soon.

Went there for a wedding that weekend. There were about 5 rooms booked in our group that went. 3 of us requested to be on the same floor to help each other get ready. We go to check in at 5:20 (mind you check in is at 3 and my friend had already called around 2:45 to make sure her husband could check in at 3 even though his name wasn’t on the reservation in case he got there before us) and our rooms weren’t even ready. My friend and her husband needed to be at the rehearsal dinner in 40mins. They weren’t even apologetic about not having our rooms ready. Then my sister in law went to get a drink at the bar and found out that all the amenities that you’re paying extra to have aren’t open. Both bars, the restaurant and the gym aren’t open. Again no apologies about it, just a flippant it is what it is type of attitude. Next day we go downstairs to get lunch from the Super Bowl advertised special they have this weekend. Around 12:30 were told it doesn’t start until 1. Instead we order DoorDash because we needed to start getting ready and didn’t want to wait that long. Good thing we did because when my sister in law went down around 3:30 to get a drink (they were supposed to have certain alcohols available then) THEY STILL WEREN'T SET UP. I don’t have complaints about the room itself or the noise from the airport. The noise is expected and honestly the room was nice, just could have had better lighting. But the staff needs retraining.

Loved our stay at this hotel! Booked it because it was close to Miami airport and had FREE parking and Wifi! We rented a car as opposed to taking the hotel's free airport shuttle (which was available) because we had a 24hr layover. The hotel was opened not too long ago so everything is clean and new! The lobby was nicely decorated and the lady who checked us in was polite and helpful (even gave us a dinner recommendation when asked). The king room we had was setup a bit different than other hotels I've stayed at... you entered into the bathroom area (toliet separate with a door, shower with its own door). The mirror was fog proof and the rainfall shower head was amazing (there was also a handheld shower head)! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Honestly this was the best shower I've taken in a hotel! There was a barn door you could close between the bathroom area and the bedroom area. Lots of outlets/USB ports on either side of the bed, flat screen TV, and a device that you could connect to your phone to play music from. You need to put your key in a slot near the door to keep the lights/AC on (very eco-friendly!). Bed and pillows were comfy! Good blackout shade. You do hear some planes but being that you're 8mins from the airport that should be expected. I'd definitely stay here again!

my stay was great, i was out on business all day and came back at night. place looks great new staff friendly even the security guards would say hi. only issue i had was that i had to request house cleaning due to covid which i didnt know, as soon as that was sorted out all smiles....great service will surely be using this hotel in the future, central of all my business stops and close to the airport. THanks again for a great stay.
