Love the area the condition and the service at this hotel! Great stay

The hotel was nice enough. The room could do with a bit of a refurbishment. Staff friendly and helpful. The highlight though was the location - safe, light rail station just around the corner and Japanese restaurants galore. There’s also a little Japanese village just behind the hotel - bakeres, cafes, gift shops etc. Cannot understand why other reviewers have said the location was awful.

The location was close to a lot of the Japanese tourist areas (it is better to walk to places than to drive). Everything is within walking distance if exploring Little Tokyo. On the other side of the street are a lot of ramen shops, right next door are some souvenir shops, the Tokyo mall, and the Japanese plaza. The room was very clean. The valet, front desk, cleaning service, repairman, and bellhop were kind and helpful. They even provided a map that helps you get around Little Tokyo: Japanese Plaza, Weller Court, Honda Plaza, and Tokyo Galleria. If you are looking for the best Asian supermarket, go to Tokyo Galleria. Weller Court has the bookstore. Honda Plaza has a bakery with Asian goods. Japanese plaza/Tokyo mall has the anime and Japanese souvenirs. The room was clean and spacious. Parking isn't free, but you won't find a lot of free parking.

The room we stayed was clean and quiet. Only problem was that the bathroom sink was clogged.
