Log Cabin Inn

We only stayed in the area one night but our little cabin room was very clean, cute and cozy. I believe it was of their smallest rooms however it really had all we needed for the one night. Small refrigerator, coffee maker and a comfortable bed. It was also walking distance to the historic area of town.

It was a clean vintage room located on the historic loop. It had an awesome food truck in the parking lot and rustic seating. Definitely a decent deal for the price.

Great location. They are updating the property and when it's finished I know it will be amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous. Best pillows we have ever used!

This room was very nice...newly panelled in cedar, it gave the room a very much of a "cabin" feel. The room was a bit on the small side, however since the purpose of the trip was to be out sight seeing, this turned out not to be a problem.

First off, let me say that the managers did a great job ensuring everything was as good as they could make it. The problem is that the room was really outdated and in need of major renovations. There was only a single sink without a vanity for a two bedroom cabin. There was at least three different types of flooring in the cabin. The furnishings were not very good (old dresser) a fridge sitting on a table. A cheap microwave on a different table. No closets. No alarm clock. No hair dryer. Two small window AC units which took a long time to cool off the cabin. Needless to say, the room and decor both need help. The managers did say that that the owners are in the process of renovating the cabins but we were disappointed in the room, especially for the price. Honestly one of the few times in all of my years of travel that I felt like I got a really bad deal.

Location, location, location was the main reason for booking this small cabin. Its priced low for where it is. The proprietor was pleasant and very helpful. The room is dated, not really in a quaint way, but in a lazy way. The window mini blinds have not been dusted or cleaned...ever I believe. Same goes for fake plant, fixtures, etc. The bathroom and immediate sleeping area seemed clean enough. All in all, this place is OK if you don't have any dust allergies. The desk isn't accessible because it has a small fridge on it. Re-arrangement of furniture would make it useful. A couple of bottles of water in the fridge would have been a considerate addition. If it received a good cleaning, I would most certainly recommend it.

Most motel/hotels in eureka are old, so I don’t expect modern. Owners were very nice and helpful. Cabin was not very impressive. No shower, only a bathtub, I really don’t like submerging in strange bathtubs. There were spiderwebs and over not as clean as I would like. Beds weren’t comfy and the pillow cases were rough on my face. This place could really use some simple upgrades. Location was nice and outside area was nice.

It was very clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent!!!
