Hyatt Place Fort Wayne

Nice hotel, but couldn’t find the store

AC was set to 65. the hallway was at 74 and was cooler than my room. Room is dated, old, bed was old.

Very great service! Breakfast was nice in the morning. The hotel was just pretty tired and needs an update. Doors weren’t very soundproof so I heard the elevator ding from my room as well as doors slamming. Just felt old and outdated. I’m think I would try to find a nicer place next time, despite the good customer service

Staff was super friendly. But the hotel room was subpar. Three pillows had a hair on it. Blow dryer had a hair on it. Lotions by the sink were almost empty. Water in room would not get hot. It took running the water for about 5 minutes to heat up. One shower the morning of our departure used up almost all of the hot water. Carpet in room was dirty. Seating in hotel restaurant area was stained. Super nice staff but this is the second Hyatt I’ve stayed at in the last two months that has been not recommended by me.

The breadfast facility is absolutely horrible. There is not sufficient room for the number of guest and you are expected to eat in the lobby of the hotel. It is gross, ugly and totally unprofessional. The furniture in the room is old, dated and abused. The repainted doors and old carpet is tacky. Update the place, given the amount charged for the room.
