Hilton Long Beach Hotel

Had a great view of long beach anf could see the Queen Mary, over all was a great stay and worth the price. Was close to everything we needed.

OK first we had high expectations for this pricey hotel. 2 nights on Valentine’s Day weekend. From the beginning the parking is unknown and I heard guests asking where the hotel parking was. In total spent an hour checking in, getting our room location and settled in. Staff were friendly but no where on hotels.com did it say there was $100 holding fee.. i read the pet deposit, I read the parking fee of $27 a night and the staff said it was in case of something happens to the room they keep it. My point was there was nothing that said there was $100 fee deposit. Got up to the room, no fridge(had to call the front desk to get a fridge in our room) the tv was not hdmi compatible, the control was so old it had a key board. Why are there mac desktops in the hallways but no upgraded TVs? It was noisy for one of the nights. At point I was scared of getting on the elevators because It did not fully close at one point and it kept going until I reached my floor. I’d press to go down and a couple coming from the 9th floor kept getting taken back up to the 3rd floor because we kept pressing the button to get on the elevator and we are still social distancing so we are not getting on an elevator with 3 other people. For how much we paid, it would have been nice to get some upgraded amenities. The location is not it and the parking lot was difficult to find. I would not recommend staying here for the price we paid.

The hotel was ok, staff was friendly. However, my room smelled like cigarettes and when you called the front desk all they said is “our hotel is smoke free but we can not control what others do” they did not offer to come and see my room and or change my room.

Overall it was okay but I expected more from a Hilton. The towels in the bathroom smelled and so did the closet. The worse thing was that there was a big cockroach on the hallways walking out of the room.

The room was great and cozy. The misleading parking situation is what turned me off about this stay. When booking the property claimed parking included but at check in we got charged $27 for an offsite parking lot.

Next door room blasted music til 3 am even after security was called , people screaming down hallway , no sleep

I was surprised the rooms didn't have microwaves in them and the underground parking lot was full the two days we were there. Plus there was a live wasp in the room my friend almost got stung by it was crawling on his arm while he was sitting down drinking his coffee.

Rooms definitely bend renovation especially the bathroom and furniture

Room booked online was actually not available when we checked in but after some effort the staff accommodated us with a rollaway at no charge. They didn’t exactly like that it was an outside booking agency.

Every time we come here, we always stay at this hotel. It’s convenient for everything. Right next good food places, beach, and freeway. The staff is always kind and welcoming.
