Great place for a weekend family getaway.

This is our second stay. I love the pool area with the hot tub. The breakfast is a good solid meal. The rooms are clean with a fridge and microwave and have amble storage for hanging your clothing.

Anniversary trip

We stayed here for our anniversary, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing...Great location and the pool and hot were great!

It Was Ok

The room was comfortable enough. Very tiny but fairly clean. The were not doing housekeeping during our stay so we had to empty our garbage and ask for extra towels at the desk.I don't think we'd stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Was not inpressed at all this time. Room was dirty huge stains in the carpet. Bathroom could have been cleaner. My room was run down this time. Pool was very cloudy. Pool area had a very strong odor of Chlorine. Probably will not stay here again.

Bad first experience

I'm not one to post reviews, but felt this particular stay required it. When we went to the front lobby to check in, the front desk employees were nice and accommodating. We checked in and proceeded to our room (214) and immediately had issues with the key cards. Called the front desk and the maintenance guy came and was able to let us in. He mentioned this particular electronic lock has been erasing key cards for a while now. Thinking nothing of it he went and reprogrammed the cards and they worked fine. We proceeded into the room and see that things are a little outdated but no big deal. Looked in the bathroom and there was mold on the wall above the shower. Again we let it go. Decided to go to bed (beds are very comfortable), got up the next day and left to sight see. It had rained for about an hour that day and when we returned, water was pouring in from the ceiling. We called the front desk and mentioned the issue and they hung up on us. We had to call them two more times and said they would send someone to look at the leak. The maintenance person walked in and said whoa and then left. We called the front desk and mentioned we cannot stay in the room like this and they said we will see what we can do and hung up. At that point, we packed everything up and headed to the lobby. They asked if we were the people with the leak and we said yes, they very rudely handed us keys to another room and didn't apologize for the inconvenience or say anymore.

Noisy and no service

If your traveling with small children this is your place but not if your expectation is to get some rest, there are vents in the corner of the room that funnels noise from another room and we unfortunately had the family from hell! Mom and dad constantly yelling at their kids at all hours of the day and night little one screaming, couple that up with an uncomfortable bed and it equals no sleep. The rooms were clean, a little cramped but everything you need. The check in was terrible basically the young man had us sign the paperwork gave us our keys and that was it no information at all we had to find out ourselves about breakfast and never did get the Internet password and there was no maid service, I understand when COVID hit this was pulled back but at least inform us. No we won’t be returning. The high point was the ducks next to the river they were so cute!

Okay for the price

Having the water view and space to walk around outside were a plus. However, this place is very dated. The room was very cramped and the beds weren’t very comfortable.

Smokey Mountains, Smokier Rooms.

We arrived at the hotel late at night for our family, 11pm. We checked in and the staff was very friendly, they provided a map of how to get to our room and where best to park. Parking was non existent, and we did find 1 of 2 remaining spots on the opposite end of where we were advised to park for access to our room. This is not the hotels fault, my advice would be to check in and arrive early to this hotel if you choose to book. The map is a little confusing as there are a number of doors and corridors to walk through. But we made our way to our room and even though there is no smoking allowed in the rooms we were overcome by the fowl odor, it burned our nostrils and I immediately called the front desk to request a new room. The hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms, the smell was slightly better, at least we would be able to breathe and get some rest. We would probably not choose this hotel again due to some of the frustration of the evening. Best of luck and enjoy Pigeon Forge!
