The Hollywood Roosevelt

We had a great experience at The Hotel Roosevelt. The rooms are spacious and clean. Being upgraded to a Loft King room as a Hotels.com Gold member was a bonus. The hotel itself is very classy and fun just to walk around and look at the architecture, especially the historic lobby area. The staff is equally as classy and very accommodating. The location was great for both cruising Hollywood Blvd and going to see a show at the Hollywood Bowl. I look forward to staying there again.

The room keys didn't work...I changed out six sets of keys for my two day stay. The room itself was GREAT.

I booked a room here to celebrate my 35th B-day during one of the summer Sunday pool parties and loved every minute of it. Great service by everyone at the hotel, cool vibe and stunning design inside and out.

I've heard tales about the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and Pool Scene for years, and finally got to stay there last weekend and check it out myself. I travel a lot, 60+ nights a year all booked through Hotels.com because their Gold Customer Service is excellent, and often way better that individual hotels own who can be total a-holes. So when I check in at the Roosevelt and immediately get the old "oh, you booked through Expedia.." in a condescending way, it's always annoying and uncomfortable, but worth it for me in the long run. For $500 for one night stay I have pretty high expectations for a hotel, which unfortunately were not met here, and was a bummer. Tiny room, elevators took forever, key card kept not working so had to go back down the slow ass elevator, the heater/fan sounded like a 747 jumbo jet engine and would come on and off in the night, the bath tub did not drain so was filled with dirty water after a shower. The best part of the whole stay was the $30 burger room service (burger only), definitely the best tasting $30 burger I've eaten in bed (no space in the room to eat it anywhere else). The pool was pretty cool vibe in the daytime, but honestly next time for that much money I would just stay at the W or Standard, and maybe visit the Roosevelt pool in the daytime, or bar in the evening, then Uber back to a nicer hotel. I emailed the hotel with my feedback, never got a response, they don't care, they are the Hollywood Roosevelt lol.

The hotel was wonderful! Great customer service and great location! Beds were very comfortable and room was great!
