Quality Inn On Historic Route 66

My stay at this hotel was a bit bizarre. Check in was fine and the room was very standard. I went to a nearby store to pick up some food for dinner, but on returning, I encountered a dude crouched down by the bushes right in front of my car. I thought that was strange, and asked my companion to go with me to confront this guy. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was working. Next, I asked the front desk lady if she nad any groundskeepers on duty. This was a Sunday night at 5:00 pm. She said she would look into it. When I saw her again 15 minutes later she said she knew who it was and had "talked" to him. She advised me to move my car to be closer to my room. This strange dude seemed to be under the influence of drugs, and I wonder if he is a resident of the hotel. Otherwise, how did the front desker know who he was? That experience put a damper on what could have been a pleasant stay.

The most horrible hotel experience ever. It has the worst beds, worst curtains, worst bathrooms and worst maintenance kin top of that, the room rent was massively expensive $107.00). I’m thoroughly disappointed and suggest people not to get deceived by the pictures.

It was clean and ready for our arrival. The host and food arrangements were excellent.

The clerk at check in wasn't friendly at all and seemed annoyed, I guess a bad day other than that the place was nice. It's old on outside but nice inside of the unit.

Trucks parked right outside started up, roaring and idling during the night and early in the morning. This, added to the high level of general traffic noise in this busy area. Blinds also did not cover the window, so light came in all night, and dawn was inescapable. Any kind of restful sleep here was nigh impossible.

Old fashioned mission style inn on historic route 66. The rooms were dated but clean and pretty well maintained. They were situated in a way where all the rooms surrounded a large courtyard complete with fountain, large, grassy areas, BBQ grills, outdoor eating areas and more. We thought the breakfast to go would be a brown bag with a muffin, boy were we wrong. There is a Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel. We were able to choose a full breakfast off of their menu. I had the eggs with bacon, beans and rice and tortillas plus orange juice. It was delicious. The employees at the front desk and the restaurant we very kind and helpful. All of the buildings were dated but we'll maintained and pretty clean. So it really felt more nostalgic than dated. Room prices were very affordable event without the breakfast. When you consider the breakfast, you couldn't beat the price. Great value.

We stayed with pets. I really liked the inner courtyard that had a fully enclosed area for small dogs to play in. Nice grassy areas with places for outdoor seating and patio heater to take the chill off the cool evening.

It was a decent stays with no problems my only complaint was that the HDMI port on the TV would not connect with my own laptop so I could not watch Netflix on the large screen TV and had to do it on my laptop instead not a major issue just a small first world problem kind of deal. Service was great so was the customer service the free additional breakfast is well worth the money.

Cute little hotel for the price! Took a mini family trip to Rainbow Basin Trail and Calico Ghost Town!
