Beautiful Secluded Views Await Guests at This 2 Bedroom in Cape Meares!

We loved our stay at this property! It was so close to the beach and we had a nice ocean view from the dining table. It is a quiet little hamlet and the beach was lovely! The house is really cute.

We haven't been to the beach and several years this was definitely exactly what we needed property was just like listed I felt like we came home perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach

They said their beds were okay, although a little lumpy. The kitchen has everything you need for a 2 night stay. There's a couple of views of the beach from the kitchen and the upstairs balcony, but it's an easy walk to the beach and it's great beach at that!

We had a relaxing, wonderful stay. The house is cozy with great access to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Place is very nice; great location and view. However, we choose this house for our winter beach trip based on the wood stove (either a hot tub or wood stove for us in winter). Unfortunately, there were two pieces of wood provided for two nights stay, accompanied by a sign indicating other firewood on the property was not for the taking and please use your own; as if people who have prepared, packed, and traveled to house are then expected to go and procure firewood (on a stormy and wet late Friday night for us) or carry around firewood with them at all times. Two pieces of wood is barley enough to get the stove warm. As it happened, the power went out that night and it got cold (no fault of the owner) but the wood stove sure would have been nice. Owner needs to list this information in the rental description to avoid such a rude surprise. Place was very nice other than that, although the window sills could have used a quick cleaning. I'm torn about giving this rental 3 or 4 stars but will give 4 trusting the owner, given the price of the rental, will somehow rectify the firewood situation and/or information.

I felt comfortable letting my dogs explore the driftwood and play in the surf, without worrying that someone would get upset. The house is just a short walk away from the beach, and while the views from the house aren’t incredible, you can still see and hear the ocean. Everything was very clean and the linens were nice. The bed in the loft was very firm, which is not my favorite but it might be great for others. The backyard is a beautiful oasis. Its not fenced, so you will need to watch your little ones or pets, but there is a huge deck for you to relax on while they play. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cozy home with a beautiful view and short walk to a perfect beach.

Love this house and the location - the house needs some attention - easy fixes like the drooping kitchen cabinet door and sticky back door. We have rented this house several times now and it’s great.

This rental was so nice. Perfect location and view! We could see the Cape right out our kitchen window all day. Sunsets were amazing! It was like checking into a hotel as far as linens and toiletries. It’s got everything you need. Such a great beach house! We’ll be back!
