The Blue Marlin Resort

I went for a quick girls weekend. It has a great location, on the beach, pool is warm and clean. Outside area is small but very well kept. Room was clean. Beds were not that comfortable but nothing to complain about. Nice and friendly staff. Would return with no hesitation.

The location was walking distance to the beach. The motel was very clean and the staff was extremely nice and very accomadating.

Staff was not friendly. They have more restrictions than other hotels that were just blocks away. No amenities such as shampoo or lotion. Air conditioner old and super loud, turned on and off all night. Thin walls, can hear all the neighbors.

Room interior was very good, clean and recently renovated. Pool only open 11am-7pm. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Property was very well-maintained Owners/Staff were very friendly and pleasant.

The Hotel was phenomenal and we highly recommend to anyone traveling to wildwood! Super Clean and staff was extremely attentive and friendly!

PROS: Close to beach Clean Nice pool Friendly Staff CONS: (all minor) Some electrical outlets just dead Cameras everywhere and strange texts/calls from staff Cleaning staff parked in space Small beds (but very comfortable). My small beefs: Some of the outlets in the rooms just didn't' work (I even tried messing with light switches). I understand they are guarding against people sneaking into rooms but when you call and tell me you see too many people on my balcony (via your webcams) it's a bit creepy. We had family staying in rooms on the other side of the hotel and they were on the front balcony with us, then went to their rooms to sleep. Why not walk up and talk to us instead of the phone call/texts? Please have your cleaning staff park on the street (or make a spot for them). Both mornings I came back from getting coffee and had to find the cleaning staff to ask her to move her car out of my assigned spot. Again they were friendly about it so no big deal. Their beds were comfortable but small for two people, but hey I'm spoiled by my King size bed at home and at 6'3" it's tough to fit in anything under a Queen. Don't get me wrong outside of these minor beefs it was a great place to stay and I would definitely come back! It was a fun time and convenient location and the staff was super friendly. Fix the few minor beefs and I give you 5 stars instead of 4!

I’ve stayed here 3 times over 2020 summer and absolutely love it! The owners are really nice and super friendly. It’s really clean and the cleaning staff always seem to be around. Close to the beach and many great places to eat. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Extremely well maintained - the owner occupied the property every morning, staging the area which includes around the clock music. Housekeeping was available daily, with a satisfactory effort! Short walk to the beach, and great pool/lounge area!

Owners were very pleasant. Hotel was clean. A little pricey for during the week, and not being so close to the boardwalk. Upstairs neighbors were annoying. Young children banging on floor and moving furniture til after midnight.
