Oaks Sydney Hyde Park Suites

Great Location. Bed and pillows comfy. Otherwise it’s a bit tired and rundown. The aircon was necessary but a bit noisy during the night. The TV set isnt in a great spot for either sitting down or looking at in bed. Asked if they had an umbrella I could borrow- apparently they have 10 but all were broken. There were rooms with a view but I got one looking at the side of the adjoining building. The pool isn’t open- I was fooled by the pictures you are looking at too!

Good location. The air con in my 1st room didn't work. I was offered top move to another room with a functioning air con.

The property was in a good location across from Hyde Park and close to a lot of public transport. However, the property is very dated and run down and needs an urgent refurbishment ASAP.

Great location but poor facilities in the apartment. This was the first time we have stayed at this apartment and we won’t be staying again, especially in summer. The dishwasher was out of order, no laundry facilities in the apartment and the air conditioning wasn’t working well at all. The baby monitor was saying the rooms were about 25-27 degrees overnight and during the day. The air conditioning was on high but just wasn’t working at all. The receptionist was able to find us a fan, which was nice customer service but it didn’t help much as it was so hot. when you pay so much for an apartment with a family you expect the facilities to be working! Would not recommend staying here in summer

Was thrown in a really old room that obviously needed to be renovated. Very disappointing, won’t be staying again.

On arrival I was not explained properly about how to access the hotel from the car park. I got into the car park but could not find the guests lift, I used the service lift. The hall where my room was in had a terrible odour of food cooking and the smell was far from nice. The floor was not cleaned properly, there was mould in the bottom of the shower, the bed had hair in it and the mattress so uncomfortable I was up at 4am because I could not longer lay in the bed. It was disgusting how it got it’s 4 star rating is beyond me, it would be a 3 possibly a 3.5 at a stretch. I’d never stay there again, I’d prefer to sleep in my car than stay in this establishment again.

Great Hotel, we really enjoyed the executive studio with balcony! Great price and very clean. Thank you, we'll be back.

We did not get the room stated or paid for. The bed happened to be 2 single bed mattresses on queen size bed. One mattress was higher than the other.. The phone did not work when calling reception. I had to go to reception. The bed and pillows were lumpy. The airconditioner was so loud and even after turning it off...there was quite loud banging from our airconditioner...which kept us awake at night... There was only 1 small bar of soap... Enough said...

Great apartment style facility. Clean, great location and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
