Hilton Kuching

Quite old facilities and need for upgrade consideration. My room's bathroom had a water stagnant on the floor. Onwards I had to clean myself in the bathtub by using a pail and dipper. Not enough shower gel. Please bring your own.

Overall experience is very good, comfortable bed and room is spacious. Would be nice if the bathroom is refurbished as it is quite old

Everything were good as one would expect from the Hilton Brand. There is only one comment issue we came across. In room 821, the shower water pressure was pretty low. Not sure if it is only in this room or the floor. Perhaps Maintenance should check it out

The Hilton Kuching is consistently the best hotel in Kuching. The service, cleanliness, comfort and style is superior.

Right on the river front was nice. But noise was constant. Traffic up till gone midnight and loud music from the hawkers stalls till the early hours .Would be best if double glazed to reduce the outside noise. Needs to be re carpeted on-the Non Executive Floors and rooms. Worn, stained and a bit whiffy. Nice pool area and gym was pretty good. We pre paid breakfast and it was always good. Lots of variety. Well presented and replenished regularly. very helpful and cheerful team in this area. Big thanks to them. Used the Steak house 1 Dinner. Set 4 course meal advertised as from a certain price point. Came in at nearly double when presented bill at the end. No indication what the different costs of the Dishes on the menu were. When being selected. 1 small beer and water from the dispenser would not account for the dramatic increase in charge. That said the meal was very good. Well cooked, presented and service was pretty good too. Best dinner we had for the entire stay in Kuching. Early checkout, had a Bit of a fright when the receptionist printed off a long,long list of charges and presented it to me. Total Cost for whole stay and all breakfasts. Had to point out all prepaid to you guys on booking. He re checked and produced an invoice for hotel tax and laundry only. .

Nice view, pleasant service but with leaking bath tubs in 2 rooms even after being moved

Professional front counter services. Plus side in the city center. On the other hand, room interior may need refurbish to reflect the Hilton hotel brand globally. Overall breakfast are acceptable and can be further improve.

Great location, nice room and good service

We really loved this hotel. It was wonderful. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were very nice, the location was really close to the town, the pool was awesome! But, there was a lot of noise everywhere. On our first night we were not facing the river and the bar opposite was playing music until 2am on a Wednesday. We were moved room Thursday to a river facing room (with an upgrade which was amazing) however, there is a pedestrian crossing outside which we could hear on the 11th floor and the music on the street and from the evening light shows could be heard easily from the hotel. We were also woken most mornings at 5am from the mosques nearby. Honestly, we couldn't fault the hotel. The staff did everything they could and it was absolutely lovely. But to get a good night sleep, I would not recommend it.
