Hotel Barocco

Hotel was very clean, charming and staff were extremely friendly.

I was accommodate in a apartment next to the hotel. Terrible..... Why they list that room that’s away from the hotel as part of the hotel. That’s not a hotel accommodation .I need tree keys to get to my room. It was old building with local tenants . Not a HOTEL

Words cannot describe how wonderful this hotel and the staff were. We went to Rome to celebrate our daughters first birthday. Prior to our arrival I tried to find a cake shop to do her cake so we could have a small celebration while there. Unfortunately I had no luck and was devastated, but figured I would just treat her to a full day of gelato. Well, we woke up, put her in her birthday outfit and went down to enjoy the hotels amazing breakfast. Shortly after we found our seat the staff came out with cake on a plate that said Happy Birthday Elizabeth with a candle in it. As they sang happy birthday my heart warmed to an extent only a mother with great appreciation could enjoy. We left for the day to see the sites. When we returned to our room it was not only immaculate, but we found a note and bag on our bed wishing our daughter a happy birthday from the staff and they went out to purchase a few gifts for her. This is NOT something you would ever experience in America, and I feel we wouldn’t have experienced it anywhere else. We were complete strangers and obvious tourists who were only there for a short period and the staff of this hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable vacation and that our daughter had a first birthday she would cherish forever. If I could give 500 stars I totally would. When we go back we will always stay at this hotel.

I checked in late with what was possibly the night porter & a colleague (slightly after midnight). He made me feel very welcome, great friendly personality, eager to help and very customer focused. Shown up to my room, which was amazing.. plenty of Italian style, clean white furnishings and very tasteful. Small gift in the room in recognition of my Expedia VIP status & to thank for my custom. Fabulous view of the fountain on the square out the window, fabulous bathroom and facilities and a comfortable bed. Room very well appointed and in spite of the traffic on the square outside was very quiet. Breakfast was in the 1st floor dining room, great selection of drinks and food, proper barrister made coffee - not simply filter coffee in a pot - highly recommend if your morning coffee is your most important drink of the day! overall 5* service and accommodation, I will be back with my wife on my next visit to Rome. Thank you for making me feel like a valued customer.

This is a very conveniently located hotel. The staff are excellent and the rooms well appointed, if quite modest in size.

Exceptionally friendly staff with top-level service. We felt so welcome and enjoyed fabulous treatment from everyone at property. The breakfast is amazing, the coffee quality and selection is incredible. We had a suite with view of fountain piazza that was so quiet thanks to two sets of dual pane windows. Fabio at the front desk took great care of any needs we had, the manager Diego was unbelievably attentive every day, the barman Gianluca is a terrific mixologist and the wait staff including Elisabetta provided warm and friendly service. Thank you to all!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make us welcome and give us information and practical help. Everywhere was spotless and gleaming. And the breakfasts were great.
