The Lane - Boutique Residence

Loved this hotel! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful - when the water in my room was not getting hot they sent someone up to fix it right away. There is no one at the desk after 9pm, but there is a code to get in at night and a phone at the desk in case of an emergency. The rooms are small but chic and comfortable. It was perfect for a solo trip; might feel a little cramped for 2 people if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room, but if you're out and about most of the day it's just fine. Super convenient location that is right around the corner from the train and bus stations and a few minutes walk to Eyre Square and the main drag. My only complaint is that the window in the room has a frosted coating on it, so it lets in light but you can't actually see outside to know if it's raining or what the weather is. Overall a great stay, would definitely stay again!

Nice room. Lift broken, no one to help carry cases. First room, window broken, no one fixed it. First room was sooo noisy. Second room was sooo noisy, little sleep.

Had to stay two nights in Galway once we found this great little affordable hotel. Raj was super friendly and helpful to find sights and pubs. Will certainly stay here again next time I'm in Galway.

Room was very tiny, but clean. Walking distance to many of the shops. Receptionist was really helpful when asking about things to do in our upcoming cities (not Galway).

The room was tiny, no closet, tiny bed, tiny bathroom, no phone in room to contact the desk, noisy, no refrigerator.

I was offered the opportunity to stay in an off-site apartment about a block-and-a-half away from the main location. I wax told this was because I was booked for several days and the rooms were small. So I was lucky to have a nice little place with complete kitchen and washing machine. Just lovely. Location is easy walking distance to main sites, markets, restaurants etc in lovely Galway.

Good place to stay given the location being right next to everything. The service was great to explain the ins and outs.

Fabulous location, spotlessly clean, lovely bedrooms and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Recommend this Boutique Hotel very highly.
