Quality Inn Toledo

The woman at the front desk was very nice and check in was very easy. However the hotel was run down and dirty. The lobby was old and dated and the room was dirty with stray hairs in the bed and mold in the bathroom. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were cracked and there was a very large water (mold) stain on the bathroom ceiling. The deadbolt on the door was also broken and being a single woman traveler I did not feel at ease staying in the room alone. Breakfast was also very limited with only scrambled eggs and a few cereals.

Comfy beds, large room, but bathroom is very small but servers the purpose. Breakfast bar well stocked & choices varied. Personnel very helpful. Would stay again.

On the plus side, the room was quiet, the pillow-top mattress was awesome, the location was close to lots of stores and restaurants, and the staff were great. On the negative side, this hotel is partly renovated, and partly not. Our room was not, and had mildew on the bathroom ceiling, a clock with a burned-out display, and a refrigerator that was not cold enough to safely store food. The staff quickly corrected the refrigerator and clock, and offered to move us to a renovated room, but since the renovated rooms had lesser quality mattresses, we stayed put. Overall, a good place to stay.
