Great weekend
This hotel is in a great location near Metro. Felt safe in neighborhood. Rooms very quiet-never heard people in hallway or doors shutting. Bed super comfy, great pillow. Good counter space in bathroom. Starbucks downstairs convenient in am.

Clean, comfy, not much notable either way... Except... 375 a night and they still nickel and dime you for wifi and the water pressure is not good...

Not impressed with club Lounge Breakfast . One of the least fav. Only egg and bacon as hot item. Also super tiny plates???? I would not return to this Marriott especially with $60 parking. Not worth it!

A week in Washington
Good location for sightseeing with easy access to Metro and bus routes and easy walking distances to many of the central museums and Mall. Hotel comfortable but restaurant offerings relatively basic. Minor irritations such as WiFi being blocked on morning of departure.

I made a reservation well in advance but when I showed up they didn’t have a room for me. They had overbooked several rooms. The staff was friendly and apologetic. They got me another room at a hotel nearby. The staff did their best to manage the impact of a corporate strategy that is questionable at best. It’s tough to arrive after a long flight to a hotel that doesn’t fulfill on its commit to have a room for you. Plus the only thing they had to offer me was a couple of hundred Marriott points. I would have expected better care for a regular customer. Maybe a credit on my next stay or a lot more points. Something.
