Hotel Current

The parking fee was 10 a day, which made the hotel a lower value than the Marriott by the Airport. Mariott has better Beds and no parking charge. Shower at the Mariott is slightly better, without the good Shower the Hotel Current would have been a lower review. Bed at Mariott is much more comfortable with better pillows.

We have stayed here several times and my son loves it. We used to go to the hotel pepper tree in Anaheim, but after a very bad experience we will always now prefer Hotel current.

Loved the parking lot!

Decent hotel, good price. The only thing the fridge didn’t work, but luckily didn’t need it.

The gentleman that checked me in and out had good customer service. However, the room needs to be refreshed, the AC Unit barely worked, I only got one of every towel. They didnt even give me a new roll of toilet paper, it was halfway gone with no replacement roll. There were some suspicious looking people starimg at me as I was pulling up. The reviews arw misleading. Never agaim,chose elsewhere. The area was safe, that is the only pro.

Clean. Friendly Staff. Close to CSULB. Lots of parking. Nice pool but closes early. No breakfast though.

Noisy! The next door guest had drinking party until 3 am, yelling, playing load music, police came at one point but after the police left, party continue. Hotel management didn’t do anything to stop the party and noise. Will never stay at this motel ever again!

Starting with the positives. If you have a child trending CSULB and you’re going to visit, it’s really close, and it’s within walking distance to many restaurants, a coffee shop, a public golf course and a park. The negative aspects are it was very noisy- the cleaning staff was very loud every morning, and our room was close to PCH.

Horrible one night stay labor day weekend. Rude guests in next door room partying loudly out on balcony right OUTSIDEt and INSIDE room from 11:00pm to 4:00am. No hotel staff or hotel security monitoring or aware of it or doing anything about it. We're sure heard other guests complaining outside. Our two rooms have no working phone lines to reception. We were exhausted with the heat from day out on the beach, so we just tried to turn on air con high to drown out noise instead of calling staff on our cell. We tried to talk to partying guests but they just ignored us. Hotel Current needs to have security staff monitor surroundings at night to ensure more safety and avoid such nuisance for all their guests who are resting in their rooms at night. This shows that Current hotel staff is either negligent or understaffed. This minor incident reflects on poor quality of Current hotel. At check out, lady seemed totally unaware of this loud party the night before, even though it lasted for hours right outside the reception bldg. Even for one night, it's unexcusable!
