Best Western Plus New Barstow Inn & Suites

Front desk was very nice. Room was clean but quite cheap looking for a BW plus. Bed was very uncomfortable and I was given a room that came up against the elevator. All in all pretty disappointing

Hotel is very loud and overpriced for what you get. It is situated right next to the freeway and you can hear that better than your own TV. You can also hear people coming in and out of the hallway door all night. The bed was uncomfortable and the lighting was a very bright white making relaxation difficult.

While trying to check out, waited at front desk, politely called "Hello" a couple of times, realized I needed to go looking for a receptionist, when a man with a very surly look on his face came around to the desk. Apparently I was disturbing him. No words until I asked for a receipt. Yes, I had reserved a room through Hotels.com, but paid for the room at the hotel. "No receipt!!" What??? "You have a receipt through Expedia and we don't give receipts." "But I paid the hotel directly and I need a receipt for what I paid for my company's expense report." No receipt, it's company policy he almost spit at me several times. The competition in the same area does give receipts and also has pleasant service-oriented people working for them. They'll get my business on future trips.

While there was a problem with our room, the issue was handle quickly and with a positive attitude. Their customized pick up breakfast was better than anyother hotel we stayed at over our 3 week trip. I would stay here again.

New clean hotel was very nice!!

The property is new and clean. Service is very good. They packed breakfast into a bag and delivered it to our door in the morning due to COVID restrictions. It’s on a busy intersection so there is traffic noise but it’s convenient to restaurants. I would stay there again!

The pool area was vert neglected. There were cigarette butts on the floor, no soap in the bathroom, and the glass to the tables were missing. Very odd. I understand why the breakfast can’t be buffet style, but the delivered food was terrible .

We could smell someones smoke wafting into our bathroom through the ventilation system.

Right on top of I-15. You hear all the motorcycles engine braking. Noisy guests in the room above us. 2 calls to the front desk to get them to stop. Room was really clean and A/C is good. Good for an overnight stay if you don't ha e trouble falling asleep. Front desk kind.

A week kept and clean property. The furniture was some of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever seen in a motel. The chairs were institutional at best. The AC in the room didn’t work and the front desk clerk had to come up and fix it. At 06:30 in the morning the housekeeper was banging on doors and yelling in the hallway. Not appreciated.
