When we arrived at the hotel after a long flight from Atlanta we were greeted by the employee behind the desk with a big smile. It was only 9:30am so I was so pleased that he was able to show us to our room. It was small, but comfortable and beautifully decorated with pinks and lace. Our daughter had a small bed made up for her near the window. While […] there we found it to be a 5 minute walk to Placa Catalunya , which is a big square that you catch the On and Off Bus. And that is right next to Las Ramblas which is also a must see while you are visiting. Slept well at the hotel. They have a black out shade that comes down and the area outside was very quiet, even though it is in a fairly busy area. Also they make great soft serve ice cream that is available anytime, along with many things to eat at the food bar and the Coffee machine makes espresso and other coffees. While eating in the dining room you feel that your are in a palace. It is so pretty! Would definitely recommend this hotel! They make you feel very welcome and they are very accommodating! Over rated 2 star at most. Food awful, plastic furniture, Bathroom is a medical emergency waiting to happen. ( 2 foot drop when getting out of shower/tub to floor. Almost broke my neck when I fell )

Very pleased with our stay, staff extremely helpful and room very comfortable.The 24 hour buffet was very useful - we did not have to search for places to eat. My only criticism was the height of the bed. I am only 5ft and slightly disabled and found it difficult to get onto it. Overall very pleased with everything

Chose this hotel because of Tripadvisor guest feed back. We must agree it is a great place to stay in Barcelona. Staff welcoming, friendly, helpful. The 24 hour buffet was great when we arrived late evening on Friday and gave time to go for a walk before bed. The room was functional and clean with lots of storage. Bed really comfortable. Very conveniently located near Passeig de Gracia and a 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas. Location is very good. Hotel provides a buffet but the food is not fresh so we don't eat. Room is small and there is no personal daily clean stuffs. The bigger issue is hot water is not enough to take a hot bath even a shower. I would not recommend this hotel

The hotel was very convenient for walking into the main town/old city and for catching the buses across the city. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was cosy and comfortable. For our family of four, they added on a wing of the ballroom to the adjoining regular hotel room, so the kids room had a high ceiling with a chandelier and a big fireplace! The 24-hour buffet, while not gourmet, was satisfactory and saved a lot of money on restaurants.

We spent a few nights here and it was virtually a godsend! I had come off a cruise not feeling well, but the 24 hr. availibilty of fruit & fluids helped in recovery. It was a joy to be so close to all the bus services, restaurants, etc. Kudos to the concierge, Peter, who was extremely helpful and courteous.In other words, EXCELLENT!

Nice people, great service, cute room. The breakfast bar was a joke, the beverage server was out of EVERYTHING - it was pretty sad. We wanted to eat out anyway but why offer wine, juice, water, etc. if it's out and never refilled?

We stayed here for four nights recently, and the location couldn't have been better. Five minute walk to Plaza Catalunya and Gaudi houses. The price was unbeatable, the rooms were clean and moderately comfortable, and all snacks, beer, wine, juice, coffee, etc. was available 24 hours. We will definitely stay here again.

The decor of this hotel is somewhat over-the-top but it has many excellent saving graces. The staff are lovely and speak good english. There is food and drink available free 24 hours a day with extra hot dishes from 9 - 12 noon. The rooms are smallish but have everything you need including comfortable beds. Travelling with teenagers the best in the hotel was 24h free buffet with really wide range of food and beverages. Only minus was that the reserved quadruple turned out to be a double with two extra beds that had to be moved aside every time we wished to open the window or the refrigerator - not too much room for anything else. After the first night […] the staff was kind to offer us one of the suites with extra beds instead, but kids preferred to stay in the double. We learned that in "the sister-hotel" Hotel Continental Barcelona there would have been a real quadruble (even cheaper). Location of the hotel was fine with restaurants, shops and many attractions in walking distance, the avenue in front of the hotel is beautiful and not too noisy. 初めてのバルセロナでしたが、立地もなかなか便利でしたしお値段もお手ごろでとても居心地がよかったです。 また、スタッフの方がとっても親切で！！つたない英語でも気持ちよくリクエストに応えてくださいました。 ２４時間ブッフェも、種類はそう多くはないですが、小腹が空いたときなどいつでもつまめるものがあるのでありがたく・・・スペインの夕食時間に対応できなかった初日などはホテル内で済ませて早めに就寝することもできとても助かりました。 またバルセロナに行くときはぜひまたお世話になりたいと思います。 ただひとつ・・内装がすべてピンク色でファンシーなので・・・好みが別れます（笑）
