"cool shower and no late check out"
It was a very nice hotel, however, the water in the shower never got beyond lukewarm. Also, I inquired about a late check out(or simply just an extra hour to cover any chance of being late)and was given a less-than-friendly reply that they can hold our luggage in a room behind the counter.. We went to Buffalo to see the Habs/Sabres game. This hotel is located about a 10 minute drive from the arena. Our GPS found the hotel address easily...but the signage at the entrance was missed as it was on the ground. There is another major hotel right beside this one and its sign is up high and visible. Enjoyed the stay, the hotel is really nice. The continental breakfast isn't the best, but it's free so I didn't complain. The hotel itself is extremely hard to find, there isn't a big sign out near the road and it's directly next to another hotel so I was confused trying to find it. What a wonderful hotel. Very clean and welcoming. We were there during a snow storm and in the morning, Brian, one of the Front Desk clerks, actually cleaned off our car and shoveled around it so we didn't have to wade through the snow to get in to it. Overall when it came to the hotel the stay was excellent. Although they promote the 'free hot breakfast', the breakfast isn't really all that good. After eating it I had an upset stomach on the first day and there wasn't any variety. The confusion that occurred with my credit card was that I paid through hotels.com for the room and was required to use […] my credit card for 'incidentals' that would be credited back to my card upon check-out. They ended up charging me for the room again. I ended up having to return to the hotel to follow up.
