It was perfect. Walking distance to our concert and the L-Bar next store made for a wonderful New Year's Brunch! Like being in San francisco without the high prices. "Great hotel"
We absolutely LOVE this hotel! It's very clean and classy and is definitely a great buy for the money. The ONLY thing we didn't like was that valet parking is MANDATORY and is an up-charge per night. Other than that, the hotel was great. We didn't get out too much to explore the surroundings, but from what we coud tell, there wasn't a whole lot to do […] within walking distance; however, it's a rather short (5 minute) drive to get to lots of shopping and restaurant areas. So that's a plus. We didn't try the hotel restaurant, so we can't comment on that either. I wish they had microwaves in the rooms, but at least they have fridges. The bed was really comfy, shower was spectacular(!), and we loved having a balcony we could sit out on and enjoy the beautiful view and weather. AMAZING!!!!! Staff are wonderful and greet you by name. Fantastic location, heart of downtown Eugene. While I do not have a dog, saw many happy pet owners coming and going with their pet kids. "Very nice but a few problems"
This hotel was nice and pretty classy overall. Bed was comfortable, staff was nice, location was good, etc. but i had 2 big problems with it. First, the wireless service wasnt very good, in fact i basically had to stand by the door to use my ipad. Second, the bathroom was weird. It was all frosted glass, semi see-thru. The door separating the bathroom […] from the room slid and didnt lock. There was no door on the shower. This is all fine if you are alone or with a spouse, but we were visiting friends and a bunch of us would come back to the room and there just was no privacy for the bathroom. I had a fabulous stay. The gym is very nice and very clean. The bed was like heaven. The staff was very helpful with great food recomendations. The shops and resturants around the Inn are all great and offer different choices. Everything about this hotel was pleasant, from the valet to the welcome desk to the rooms. A definite Boutique Hotel experience. The staff was helpful in finding restaurants and shops within walking distance and answering any questions. We enjoyed the stay very much. The hotel is new and tastefully furnished with modern amenities. Bathroom is spacious with double sinks and nice walk-in shower. The bed is quite comfortable with crisp white sheets and fluffy duvet. I wish the pillows could be softer. The room and public areas are decorated with unique art pieces. The hotel is adjacent to the 5th Ave Market, so it is convenient for shopping and dining. The room had only 1 Bed side lamp...no full length mirror...no makeup mirror...the train kept us up all night...the bed was way too hard and very uncomfortable. This is a new hotel and they need to work the kinks out. The also was no are to purchase water or any other supplies. "Great hotel, friendly & clean, but check your bill"
A lovely spot to lay your head, the best in Eugene. All staff was courteous and friendly, and forthcoming with helpful answers to this traveler's questions. Note, however, one particular charge is absurd and can be eliminated by simply not using their valet. Your car will be parked 20 feet away from the main entrance for an astronomical daily fee. Do […] your wallet a favor and park your own car 30 feet away, in the back rows. Also, be sure to check your bill before you leave, as that valet charge was added, as well as a huge pet fee for the imaginary pets traveling with us. Upon arriving home, I called a staff member, who graciously agreed to remove the pet fee charge. All said and done, I'd return again, happily, to this charming boutique hotel. This is a brand-new hotel and it is beautiful. The service is the best I have ever received, and the hotel is conveniently located. The only downside of the location is that it is near train tracks and there is a loud train that passes through from time to time (sometimes early in the morning). The location of the hotel is perfect. Easy walk to restaurants, campus, parks, and stadiums. Two blocks away from train station. No car necessary. The property is fantastic, but what really put the hotel over the top was the customer service. Always smiling, polite, and helpful. Having never been to Eugene before I was looking for guidance. The staff […] never steered me wrong! Also, my wife and one of my two daughters became ill during the trip. I asked if I could get a discount on a second, connecting, room.
