Me and my boyfriend stayed over night at this hotel while looking for jobs/place to live in Kamloops. Waste of fifty bucks! It was very cold in the room and we had the heat on all night, it was like sleeping on squeaky cement :( the beds were SO bad, didn't sleep much at all. I'd rather have slept in the car. We knew this was a budget accommodation and nothing fancy. The location was just what we needed and the price was fair. There are a lot of choices in the area and we picked this one because of the outdoor swimming pool. However when we arrived, there was no water in it. It had been closed all summer and had turned into a shallow pond from rain water. He said he would take off $5 each of our three rooms so that we could afford to go to McDonald's for dinner. After this rudeness, we cancelled our reservation (the agreement states we were paying for the first night regardless) so we stayed for one night instead of three, and went 500 yards away to the next place and gladly paid more for the rooms there based on a matter of principle.
