Eden House - Tel Aviv

We arrived late due to flights twice and although they mentioned we would be charged we actually weren't. There was always someone around to show us our room and tell us about breakfast etc. They were able to book a taxi at a very reasonable price and the driver they used (Boris) was very helpful and punctual too. The only down side for us was that […] it was so far away from the airport (25mins by taxi) but otherwise it is very close to the beach in Tel Aviv and a lovely little place with clean, home-like rooms. For us the location was ideal and the price. The place, although small (economy room) was very clean and quiet, which are two of our priorities. The people working in the reception were very service minded and friendly! I will definitely go back again!

We were very close to the shouk and the beach, and had no trouble getting around. We met the owner, who was very nice, and appreciated his take on boutique hotels, making it feel like you were coming home instead of coming into a impersonal pod. The other reviews pretty much said it all. I stayed four nights in the least luxurious of the three buildings. The room was fine, bathroom tiny with the smallest sink I have ever seen. The Eden House had just opened its new hotel the week we arrived for two nights. The tiny hotel is immaculate, with many charming details. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, and elegantly served. We returned for one night at the end of our visit to Israel. We can strongly recommend this guest house. The staff were always friendly and helpful and they helped make our stay in Tel Aviv enjoyable and easy. The location is perfect with a short walking distance to the beach and to the city centre. Good value!

The hotel lies in the midst of the Yemenite quarter, spread over several re-modeled buildings. The owners and receptions are very friendly, giving you the experience of a bed-and-breakfast, far above an ordinary hotel. For example, they invited me to a free coffee at their kitchen. This is not a hotel but a poorly maintained guest house. No sign outside the hotel, terrible rooms with old furniture and a bed that must have ages in use. Very dissapointed with the description when I got there. It has been a genuine pleasure to stay at the Eden House. It is not fancy, but everything is OK. Especially Eden Blue has large rooms with a kitchen It is good value for money. The staff it unusual helpful - I´ve forgot my credit card, they went after me on the street, and the nearest café - but ended up keeping it in a safe box until I returned

The Eden House was a great value and was very convinient. We used the taxi pick up service from the airport and we were so glad we did as Eden House is not on a main road and would have been hard to find otherwise. It is a set fee and he picks you up in the arrival hall. It takes all the hassle out and is only a couple of dollars more than if you tried […] by yourself. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. They are only 4-5 blocks to the beach and a couple of blocks from the main thoroughfare Allenby Street. They are also only a couple of blocks from the Carmel market, so they are perfectly situated. Oh yeah, not a bad walk to Old Jaffe either. Within a short walk of Eden House you can be eating at some really good local places like Orna and Ella or if Shwarma is your thing the "Magician" on King George is recommended. They also helped us get to the bus station. One drawback is the lack of televisions in the rooms. But, they do have wi-fi and a mini fridge in the rooms. Based on other prices for the area this was a great deal. We would definitely go back and stay there. Once there, close to the Carmel market and about 20 minutes from Jaffa (walking). Five minutes to the fabulous beaches of Tel Aviv. "A yal" at the reception was more than accommodating.You really feel the warmth. Quite a struggle for check in as on Fridays & Shabat, nobody after 5:00 PM is available. We spent 4 nights at the Eden House. The location is 3 blocks from the water, and convenient for restaurants and shopping. We had a studio, with a small kitchen area, and a sofa. A really nice place to stay

The hotel, really a guest house, was quirky, but very clean and a very different but good place to stay. Neighborhood of narrow streets, alley like, of old part of city. I wasn't at Eden House very long, but they were very helpful with transportation arrangements. The facility was exceedingly nice, although I never did figure out the A/C.

My daughter and I loved our stay in this charming neighbourhood. The staff were obliging and friendly and happy to make recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The surrounding small streets are full of interesting bars and cafes. In any respect a great place to stay. I stayed in the new house a block away and had a terrific spacious apartment and even access to a small roof garden. A lot of attention is paid by the hosts to every detail, both with regards to services and the amenities of the rooms offered. Don't look any further, stay here and you'll enjoy it.

When we stayed in Eden House, it was still not in any guidebook. So glad we made the decision to stay anyways. The hotel is well maintained and really clean. It is near on impossible to find in the dark, without assistance. Got lost for 1-hour searching around the labyrinth. Great location for the seafront and bike hire places. Serge was very officious and helpfully organised us a taxi transfer. Michael is very smiley and friendly

Die Lage ist wirklich optimal - wenn man nicht gerade mit dem eigenen Auto unterwegs ist. Fehlende Parkplätze und ein Einbahnstraßen-Festival kosten etwas Zeit und Nerven. Zu Fuß kommt man dafür überall hin : Strand, Zentrum, Jaffa. Dies macht auch die übelst kleinen und karg eingerichteten Zimmer für zwei Nächte verkraften.

Hotellet ligger 5 min gange fra stranden, litt vanskelig å finne da hotellet står oppført med 2 adresser og en av adressene er feil. Veldig hyggelig personale. Litt små rom, men rent. Kan anbefales for kortere opphold.

Det gamla hotellet ar valdigt enkelt och vissa av rummen lite skabbiga - men servicenivan och hjalpsamheten hos personalen ar super! I vart rum gick elen flera ganger, da fick vi byta till det nya Hotel Eden som ar riktigt fint utan nagon extra kostnad.

Excelente servicio y amabilidad del personal staff del hotel.

Wir haben unsere individuell geplante Reise in Tel Aviv begonnen. Das Hotel liegt im jeminitischen Viertel und ist zu Fuß 5 Minuten von der Strandpromenade gelegen. Das moderne Tel Aviv wie auch Old Jaffa können von hier aus sehr gut zu Fuß erreicht werden. Es können aber auch Fahrräder im Hotel für kleines Geld ausgeliehen werden. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber, die Größe der Zimmer entspricht dem Preis. Wichtig: Da wir am Freitag während des Shabat in Ben Gurion ankamen, war der Shuttleservice des Hotels sehr wertvoll, da hierduch sehr viel Zeit gespart werden kann. Bequemer wars ebenfalls. Mi asombro por este hotel es que la habitaciòn que me correspondiò,quedaba en un subsuelo,muy amplio con una excelente comodidad en lo que respecta a las camas.Nada màs que el baño,se encontraba en superior de la escalera,y era de 0,60 mts, x 1 mts.! Die Leute die dort arbeiten sind sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns gleich am ersten Tag eine Karte der Stadt überreicht und die Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie die besten Strassen zum shoppen, essen und spazieren eingezeichnet. Me and my girlfriend is very satisfied with this hotel as it was 5min from the beach, very clean, nice rooms and great staff. Although I would only recommend this hotel if you book the "superior" rooms. We upgraded the second we saw the standard room. We were placed at a basement room with no windows and a bathroom smaller than a phone booth, not as […] romantic as we had hoped... Since we upgraded at arrival we had to move around a bit so we got the chance to se all the superior rooms (3 rooms total) and i would recommend to stay at the top floor if it's possible.
