The room was clean and comfortable, with good soundproofing, as I overlooked the airport runway. I liked the free wifi, and a choice of tv channels. A great hotel to stay. This is the the best budget hotel I have ever stayed in. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Our room was as good as most 5 star hotels - and they have even provided luxury large fluffy towels and proper coat hangers. "Hotel was fine but evening menu poor"
The hotel was fine. Very clean and well presented. Only seconds walk from the airport itself so very conveniently located. However, the evening menu was very poor with only four main courses: beef burger, chicken curry, vegetarian lasagne and one other. And all priced at ten quid or very close, plus of course the usual overpriced drinks at the hotel […] bar. I even went as far as going over the road into the airport building in search of an alternative. However, unfortunately there was very little available before security, so I did end up going back to the hotel and eating there.
