We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel in a fairly out of the way area. Clean and comfortable and a nice stopover en route to the rest of Virginia. The hot breakfast is very nice. Having to go to this area for a funeral, I did not want stay in a bad hotel. The reviews for the hotel helped me choose (the one closer to the church did not receive good reviews). So, as it was helpful to me, I hope this helps someone else. The room was quite nice (more upscale than you would think) big comfortable bed, clean everything, big bathroom, […] granite & wood, etc. My ONLY problem was the lack of restaurants in the area or the hotel. They do offer a nice complimentary breakfast, so… But surrounding area was strictly fast food; McDonalds being the closest. But that is the area, and in no way the hotels fault. Perhaps not the least expensive hotel in the area, the cleanliness and the comfort of the room made up for the above-average price. The nicest features for us (in a king room) were the large bathroom and shower and the strong water pressure available in the shower.
