The hotel rooms are very noisy: the doors may as well be open they let so much hall noise through. The hotel was tastefully updated, but very cheaply... good to look at from afar, but far from good.

The hotel was let down by the standard of the restaurant. Breakfast took forever even though there were only two busy tables. One of our dinner dishes, salmon in white wine sauce, was tasteless. Coffee making facilities in the room would have been an asset.

Location was in a perfect spot. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The front desk girl was beautiful and very helpful. Over all, very satisfied.

The location is great if you want the best of both worlds from Miami South Beach, it's far enough away from the noise and party aspects but still close enough to walk to the restaurants in the evening, head north for the cheaper ones, on Washington or south for a splurge. First impressions were great, a very boutique hotel with a nice laid back feel […] to it. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. Parking was offered but we'd already parked in the lot just behind the hotel for $30 since there was nowhere to park outside and check in. The room was really big and fresh with a small balcony we could see the sea from (not a full on sea view so beware if purchasing an upgraded room). Good quality shower with a medium flow (rain shower and hose) nice toiletries. Bit light on towels but enough for our 2 nights. Clean and comfortable with memory foam bed. We were below the pool but couldn't hear it. Pool are was great very relaxing with just a shallow pool but comfy loungers. Easy access across the road to the beach, the hotel will provide towels and chairs and the beach bag, nice touch. All in all it was pricey but so was everywhere else ($9 for a bottle of beer in the area!) I would stay here again,but not during spring break, it's everything it said it would be. Ďalšie informácie

Just a bit south of the craziness that is Lummus Park, at the corner of Ocean Drive and 4th, sits the serene Sense Beach House. Our blue and white cinder-block room was nothing special. It actually felt like a college dorm, but it was clean and the bathroom with overhead shower was spacious (beware: we were offered a free "upgrade" to a room with an […] ocean view and balcony, but what we weren't told, until we asked, was that it meant giving up our king size bed and settling for a double...so we declined). No, the charm of this hotel is in the design, decor, and atmosphere. It's peaceful and chic. The beach is just a short walk across the street, and the hotel provides towels and folding chairs. There's plenty of shopping on Collins Ave (just a block away). Valet parking was $29, but they get your car to you as often as needed in 10-15 minutes. The rooftop pool is only three feet deep but it's a nice place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We weren't thrilled with the young ladies who "manned" the front desk (too often, there seemed to be no one on duty), but when our ironing board fell apart, they were quick to deliver a replacement. If you don't want to pay the high prices at the luxury hotels with their private beaches, but don't want to put up with the loud music and crowded sidewalks north of 5th, then Sense Beach House offers a comfortable alternative. Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend. Service was fine, but nothing exceptional. If anything the staff was very nice, just not super quick or sharp. Room was large, really cool laid back vibe. We came down to South Beach for a day in the sun and an evening out and Sense was the perfect place to stay. It's quiet, yet a block from the beach and two blocks from the Ocean Drive madness. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

This is a smaller boutique hotel located in SOBE. The building appears to have been fully renovated within the past few years. Since it is a smaller hotel, you don't have the typical services and amenities of a much larger hotel. However, the price is very reasonably considering it is located one block from the beach and close proximity to the restaurants […] and shops. I found The Sense Hotel while doing my research online. My friends and I really did enjoy our stay there. We were aware that this was a fairly new hotel but we decided to see what it had to offer. During our stay we did notice a few things that will need to be added over time but we did take in consideration that everything is a growing process and […] I do see a lot of potential at this resort. Being that we were a room full of females of course we would suggest more mirrors outside the bathroom, a few more trash cans, hiring more room service staff, adding some color to the room (art work, paintings, etc), and a storage for toiletries. Overall the resort is in an excellent location, directly on the strip near plenty of restaurants, shopping stores, and activities. The room and bathroom were clean and the bedding was extremely comfortable. In addition, the staff was extremely courteous, pleasant and helpful so as long as their team continues to work together I'm sure this resort will be a five star hotel in no time. The room was clean, but the pipes rattled all night, the door dead bolt didn't work, the TV is at best confusing and some of the amenities in room were missing. Overall this was an excellent hotel located on Ocean Drive with Miami Beach a 2 min walk away. The rooms were large and very clean. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The hotel offered valet parking and had a very small private pool. The service was top class with very friendly reception staff.

A great experience in south beach. Friendly helpful staff and a beautiful pool area made for a great time in a lively area. The art in the lobby was R-rated and should be considered if you are traveling with children.

Absolutely the BEST!!! Location is one block from the beach. Service was top notch. Make sure you can when you land so that your room will be ready. We had to wait till one was ready. Anthony went out his way to get prices for local tourist attractions & scheduled a cab once we were ready to depart.We were upgraded to an Ocean View room for free without asking & given a late check-out for free as well. We spent majority of our time walking because everything was very close. Only 1 block […] walk to the beach and very close to all the restaurants & shopping. Hotel very well situated near the ocean, very clean and confortable. Unfortunately Stanley at the front desk wasn't able to indicate us where was the Tourism office and despite him doing a search on internet he gave us wrong indication sending us completely in the wrong direction while the office was only a few blocks from the hotel. We had with us […] an 11 years old child and we had to walk more than 45minutes while it was very hot and humid outside and where if we were given the proper informations it should have take us not more than 10minutes. Also when we asked him informations about the hip hop bus for Miami tour , there again he kind of seems to have no idea of what we were talking about....while again everywhere in Miami you can see those buses...instead of that in tried to sell us another bus tour. Once we found the tourism office by ourselves, the hiphop bus stop was there all this not more than 10 minutes away from the hotel. Stanley is probably a nice person to talk with but is really not the right person to seat at the front desk to provide informations to the guests as even with internet help, he wasn't able to provide proper informations. A few places in the lobby of the hotel are there for breakfast for the guest,(not included in the price of the room) but you are like in the middle of the reception....we recommend outside the hotel, there is plenty of places for breakfast on the same street. the only complaints that I had: there is no mirror in the room and the tv remote is extremely difficult to use. the concierge, Anthony, is outstanding and deserves kudos. he is a jack of all trades and could not have been more pleasant and helpful. they should consider opening their breakfast bar in the afternoon and serve beverages.

The hotel was very nice for the value. The location afforded plenty of opportunity to take in all that South Beach had to offer. The rooms were nice and well appointed. The staff did an amazing job at anticipating our every need. The hotel is definitely worth a stay.

Do not bring children to this hotel since the artwork is x-rated !!! They have large framed photographs of nude women in the lobby. These are photographs and not paintings. I think they need to remove these photos from the hotel. There are some good qualities of the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was great, one block […] from the beach. Also it was relatively quiet at night, it was located a few blocks away from where the loud clubs were, so we could sleep. The air conditioner was a little loud though. Also they let us use beach chairs and an umbrella for free. The staff was nice. someone locked the room safe and the staff could not open it, so they let us use their safe downstairs.
