Not too bad for the price. The rooms are pretty large (especially for Singapore), and they provide 2 free bottles of water every day, a kettle (not a... coffee maker, although packets of coffee are provided), fridge, hair dryer, shampoo, shower cap and tooth brush. They had a nice flat screen tv in the room, although it only received about 10 channels. Wifi is free and was pretty fast, but you can only connect 1 device at a time. Beware if you stay more than a week, each access code they give you only lasts 1 week...they will give you enough codes for your stay, but only activate one at a time! They only provide 2 pillows and 2 towels (you can request for more at the lobby). Also, don't expect anyone to help you up with your luggage...they didn't even have a luggage cart available. The hotel room was clean when we arrived, but they didn't seem to clean very much while we were there. Location wise, this area is fantastic. There is a kopitiam (coffee shop) just downstairs, with shops selling porridge, roti, putu piring, noodles, etc. There is also a Cheers (convenience shop) downstairs. Less than a block away are 2 large hawker centers where you can get all kinds of local food. It is about a 10 minute walk to the MRT (Paya Labar), which is an interchange between the green and circle lines.
