The apartments for rent are in a large apartment building, not a traditional hotel. So down the hall and on the floors below you are people who live in... the building. Don't expect a front desk, restaurant, or room service. These apartments are great if you want to experience Rome like a local. If you're not familiar with traveling in Italy or Europe, however, I would recommend staying elsewhere. The apartments are in a GREAT location just one block away from a Metro stop, and two blocks from a Taxi point. The Vatican Museum entrance is three blocks away and St Peter's Basilica is a 10 minute walk. There are several restaurants and bars along the street where the apartments are located. The room could comfortably fit five people, and has a full kitchen. Bottom line: there are no traditional hotel amenities. You contact the landlord who rents the hotel, they open the room for you and show you the features, and then they give you their cell phone number if you need anything. So don't expect a front desk service, or someone you can get directions or advice from. That being said, this is a GREAT place to stay if you want to experience Rome like a local. If you're a person who is in need of traditional hotel services, however, or aren't familiar with travling in Europe, this may not be the place for you. hosťom spoločnosti Hotels.com dňa 17/10/2011
