Freeland - Amsterdam

Nice Hotel, with friendly staff. The room was exceptionally small but nice, typical for Amsterdam I guess. However, don't look to close into corners etc...A thorough cleaning would help.

5 Mins Walk to the tram station which took us to the terminal train station. But you can take bus 5 mins walk from the hotel which directly bring you to Amsterdam Airport within 30 mins. The hotel is close to some attraction. Nearby hotel is a canal which you can get a boat trip around the city. Very nice and clean hotel. Only small complaint from us […] is our room located on 3rd floor which is very inconvenient as we have a 20 months old infant with us and the stair is narrow and stiff. Requested to change room for the second day of our stay but they replied is quite full. Probably they don't have much tripple room. Breakfast is simple but sufficient if you are not a big eate. They provided bread and jam, coffee/tea and a cup of orange juice, one hard boiled egg and ham. Room is clean and they changed towel and clean our room during our 2 days stay. Excellent location, friendly staff - rate includes basic breakfast ( coffee/Tea, cheese, cold meats, hard boiled egg, jam) - more than adequate..Ifyour on a budget and want a very central location - hard to makeany negative comments.

thanks to all the staff - very friendly, great advice regarding transport (i.e. walk and see the city and all the things that you'd otherwise miss out on along the way!). look forward to my next visit

Although the room is quite small, it is provided with all the necessary facilities and equipment. Also, it is very warm, clean and tidy. Breakfast is good. Only a step from Leidsplein and five minutes by tram to the city heart. It is a really good choice for a few days stay in Amsterdam.

This hotel is in a great location, next to Leidseplein. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Stayed here 3 nights in November. The hotel is small and seems old, but still very nice. Excellent service from the staff, good breakfast, very clean and nice room (had a twin bedroom). Quiet and nice location. Just a short walk to many places. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it's a great choice if you want a nice place to stay without paying too much. fine room for 3 nice breakfast; perfectly situated

Right by leidseplein square and close to many trams, it was a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood to retire to after city excursions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they were not obnoxious in any way and were always glad to help. I would definitely stay again and their breakfast which is included is amazing :)

The bed was big for europe. I loved my room!! Great hotel near the bus 197 witch takes you to the airport. Staff was nice. Bathroom was very small and is on the first floor. Overall this place rocks. I'm coming back soon. I LOVE YOU AMSTERDAM!!!!

Nous avons passé trois jours à l'hôtel Freeland, très bien situé à deux pas de la place Leidseplein, à 5 minutes de tramway du Dam. Chambres propres et colorées, personnel très accueillant et serviable. Wifi gratuit dans toutes les chambres sur demande. Bon rapport qualité prix.
