Hotel is a bit out of the way - not in the main centre but then nothing is in Preston. Very powerful shower, towel warmer that worked but the towels were a thing of uniqueness - paper thin and falling to bits. Excellent stay. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and it is a very clean "business" type hotel that is great for weekenders. The hotel is basic but to a very good standard, the staff are very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel looks nice; it is clean and well-maintained. On our visit the staff were friendly and helpful. On the downside, the breakfast room is in the basement and though its very clean and pleasant, there is a musty smell that suggests damp. Purpose built hotel in easy walking distance from station (on a nice day). Great room, well-sized. Free wireless and outstanding full-cooked breakfast. Great hotel ,Handy for Preston city centre,( shopping,rail and buses)The hotel is very easy to find and is next door to Preston university .Good car parking ( no charge, unlike some hotels) Lots of smiles from the staff . A jolly good breakfast.
