OLYMPIC INN MOTEL - Aberdeen

Accommodations were clean. The room was large.The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. a The continental breakfast had a variety of items. . We enjoyed the stay. The motel location was convenient. The rate for our five night stay was reasonable. I would recommend the motel and would stay there again.

This hotel fit the bill for a good value stop over travelling up the Oregon coast when all you need is a bed for the night. Spacious & comfortable room, adequate services. In perspective to the price it is a well kept older style motel.

The desk clerk could have smiled at least once. Other than that, the stay was nice. We had a nice clean room, it was big. It was very quiet, no people hanging around the property. We were expecting breakfast as it listed on hotels.com, but there was no breakfast, just fruit and coffee was all that we saw. For the price, I would recommend. A great hotel with a great price, our granchildren live in Aberdeen. So it is geat, comfortable and nice and clean. Very quiet and comfortable location.

The room is clean complete with bar fridge and microwave oven. If you are just staying in the area to sleep, it is quite comfortable. I like their continental breakfast.

Pretty good rates. Clean. Office manager was helpful and quiet.

We went to Aberdeen for a concert at the D and R Theater. We got to the hotel and there was a little disagreement about charges which was straightened out. The guy behind the desk was kind of rude, and was not very helpful when we asked about someplace to eat. It was Sunday night and there was not much open and the clerk just kind of vaguely pointed […] in a direction and said there are some restaraunts that way. We got to our room, and found it to be spacious and clean. We were glad of the size of the room because we had brought our two dogs and thier kennels. It was obvious that the room hadn't been updated in a long time but it was clean and comfortable. we only planned to be in the room to sleep so the decor wasn't an issue. The hotel was about 5 blocks or so from the theater and it was an easy walk on a pleasant summer evening. Some people have commented on the run down area and that they were nervous about some of the people in the area. I didn't see that at all. We walked to the show, and afterwards went out and had a few drinks. Then walked back to the hotel. We had no issues with any odd people or anything like that. It looked like they were in the process of upgrading the rooms. The furniture had a funny layout like they were using what they had. It was very clean and even though it is close to a main road I didn't have a problem sleeping.

Convenient location as it is on US 101, but the town of Aberdeen is a depressed, unattractive area. The hotel is neat and clean, with pleasant staff. The room was large and clean, with 2 sinks. Nice breakfast in the morning.

We HATE getting to a motel tell and assuming they have all the ammenities such as coffee makers in the rooms and then finding out the there may be a refrigerator and microwave but like to have coffee in our rooms to start the day. It is inconvient to have to get dressed and go to the office for coffee when we have to get up early and then to top it […] off, the office doesn't even open Sundays until 7:00 am which was about the time we needed to leave, therefore, NO Coffee for us!!!!!! I was VERY dubious at check in as a female traveling alone. I was right to be dubious! I asked about a ground floor room near the office and was told the only one available was upstairs tucked in a corner (where I later discovered that the outside light was not working) the parking lot was full of logging trucks and I was approached en route to my assigned […] room. A man later knocked on my door 2 times. The room was not very clean and VERY outdated. I returned my keys within the hour and vacated the hotel. As I pulled out of the parking lot, I again saw the same man approaching the door to the room I had been in. I was later told by our server at a local restaurant that this is a known "drug hotel". Our first mistake was "treating ourselves" to the room with the king size bed...this room was a blast from the past...like before I was born!...and I'm 40 years old!...EXTREMELY dated. They have a waffle maker that makes great waffles. It was pretty average place, old but you could tell they try hard to keep it up and keep it clean. It was cofortable and well organized.
