The indoor pool is a little small but worked out great for my kids who are 10 and 7. They really enjoyed the pool and the room was a good size for our family of four. Overall, it was an "ok" stay; the King sized suite is nothing more than a king bed..........and that's about it; Fridge too small to put anything in, A/C doesn't blow very cold; and the wi/fi is extremely spotty...but at least it was free...;the advertised pool/spa area was "closed" due to "cleaning"; yet, after complaints, the sign magically disappeared; […] breakfast was good, very nice selection; ample parking and is within a moderate distance to downtown Metropolis; Overall, like i've written, it was an ok stay. But for the money, will not be going back; if you are in a pinch and absolutely need some place to stay that's not trashy, this is your place; however, if you want amenities and an actual suite, not the illusion of one, then you're better off staying in very nearby Paducah, KY. I requested a roll away bed which was not in the room upon arrival. However, I noticed it wason the reservation when I picked it up at the front desk. I called from room to request the bed again and she told me about the $10 charge. I said I was aware due to the fact I had previously requested one. It was brought up promptly.
