19 Atlantic Hotel - Virginia Beach

This hotel was everything and more! The location is PRIME! Free parking ( although lot by hotel is small and had to park 2 blocks away). The room was small, but still had a nice cozy feel to it and was very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and the room and common areas were very tidy. Would recommend to anyone!

I really enjoyed my stay... The staff was pleasant and the location was ideal for a short walk to the ocean. The only con I have was that the hotel does not have wi-fi only wire/cable for internet access. Big deal if you have a iPad.. However, I will recommend to my colleagues!

was not good and would not recommend it. maid never checked to see if we wanted to be refreshed. constantly working over our room the whole stay and into the night. water pressure in shower was horrible. bed was hard and the room was small to say the least. we left early because we didn't feel comfortable at all. the whole experience was poor.

The shower water pressure was poor no pressure took forever to shower. No tub. Maid service never refreshed during our four day stay. Bed was as hard as a rock. Noisy floor above us all night long. Room very small. We left early just so we could sleep would love a refund.

Got a low price on this hotel. The room was small, but we didn't need much room. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly. That, and only a few steps from the beach. Very good for the price.

This hotel was in a great location. Must have been recently renovated. The room was kind of small but we made do. If you like to party like I do, there are a bunch of clubs in the immediate area. For the price this place was definitely worth it. I would stay here again.

The hotel manager was the first person I met when I checked in. He was very friendly, upgraded our room, and allowed us to check in 4 hours early. Our room was very nice. It was clean and comfortable with a great view. My boyfriend & I loved this hotel and would definately stay again!

This hotel is a great value for its outstanding location on the strip. Although not oceanfront, many rooms still have an ocean view. The hotel was extremely tidy and clean. The bathrooms aren't big but their cleanliness & functionalities (shower caddy, lots of towels, etc.) make up for it. We had two double beds and the room size was just fine for a […] weekend with 2-3 people. For longer stays and more than 3 people, it may get crowded. I walked by an open 1 double bed room and althoygj it was smaller, it seemed fine for 1-2 people. I'll definitely continue staying here if I return to VA Beach! Great location to what I was doing in VA. The reception people were super nice and even let me keep my car there for an extra 6 hours after I checked out so I didnt have to move it while running my marathon. My only issue was the A/C was no that powerful and I enjoy a nice cool room and I dont know if it wasnt working properly or what but the room ran […] a little hot for my taste. the hotel was fantastic. staff was very friendly and helpful. I am 19 and this hotel was perfect for me and my girlfriend.

This is a great boutique type hotel. Very short walk to beach. Parking is limited. Staff very accommodating. We extended our stay and did not have to move room.

Great clean little hotel right where we wanted to be on virginia beach. the rooms are VERY small, but we really only stayed there for sleeping it wasnt an issue for me. it was a little crowded in the room, but the best pricing around with a great location! if i go back to VA beach next summer i will be checking in here again!

I stayed there for a business trip so I could enjoy the beach after work. It was only a block from the beach, so that wasn't bad for the price. The hotel is old and the rooms are tiny. It was a long winding walk through narrow hallways to get to the room. It took several phone calls and a visit from the front desk clerk to get the wireless internet […] working. I consider this hotel the best of the 2nd tier hotels. One block from the beach, same block as good restaurants and Jazz spot, friendly staff, and clean room and bath. It is in the middle of the beach strip.

I had an AMAZING experience staying at this hotel. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. My stay was originally 2 nights but we had a change of plans and added 4 more nights to our stay. Some of the other reviews on this site said that the rooms were small. I would not consider them small, just "smaller" than normal. The location was perfect […] right in the middle of the Va beach main strip. It was just a 1 minute (or less) walk to the ocean front. I will be returning to this hotel for future trips to VA beach! The manager Natalie was very welcoming and hospitable. She did everything to make our stay quite enjoyable. This is a great location and there's free parking too! Free coffee in the lobby.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I was very pleased. The staff members are polite and accomodating, unlike many hotels in the surrounding area. The location is great, across the street from the beach and boardwalk. The rooms are very modern and up to date, including the beds, bedding, furniture, and TVs. Rooms also have a microwave […] and decent sized fridge. The hotel is always very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are a bit on the small size, which isn't a big deal for me as I was traveling alone, but the room I had could sleep two people maximum, definitely not any more than that. The worst part was the shower. I'm an average size person, and I could barely get in the shower and turn around comfortably, and forget about bending over. If you try, either your head or your butt hits the wall. Also, the blinds in the room didn't cover the windows 100% which irked me. However, it's a trade off because the rooms here are so well kept and maintained, much better than other hotels for comparable prices in this area. I would definitely stay here again. There was a roach found in the room and the location was right next to the elevator, which was extremely loud during the night.

The hotel is very close to the beach, but does not have a pool. A pool is a must for me.

This hotel is the next best thing to being on the oceanfront. We were a few minutes walk from the beach. Atlantic Avenue is where the majority of the family-oriented nightlife is and 19th Street is slap bang in the middle of it. If you swing towards the strictly post-21 side of things there are a few decent bars and Peabodys Nightclub is well within […] walking distance. The value of 19 Atlantic was excellent. The Hotel surpassed my expectations and was a great stay. The AC unit was a little on the loud side when running and woke me up a couple times, but I fell right back asleep after so overall I have nothing to complain about.

This hotel is extremely old and dated. It's extremely cheap though, which was the big draw. It's also located across the street from the beach, which is nice. If you're looking for a clean hotel with a comfortable bed, with an a/c unit that isn't from 1985, just stay at one of the chain hotels on the water. Easy access to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, great view of fireworks on the beach... And - the reasonable rate allowed me to stay an extra night.

Would definitely stay here again. Pros: Courteous, attentive, accommodating hotel staff members. Ample parking. Excellent location. This was really strange to me, and if I hadn’t gotten such a good rate, I would have asked for a different room just because it creeped me out, especially since the room was so small to begin with. The staff was very friendly. They helped me with my luggage that I could deposit there for another three days because I was in the meantime on a ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Great staff, very nice rooms and the location at Virginia Beach just perfect! I'll come back soon.

Booking was easy and hotel was great. Room was clean and spacious with small refrigerator and microwave in room. A little noisy from the street below. Service was always friendly.

Went to VA Beach to visit friends, didn't know it was the Neptune festival. It was an awsome hotel location. Free convient parking. The staff was great. Free coffee in the lobby. I would not suggest an inside room with no windows, but the front desk girl got me a better room when I asked and was very happy with it. Nice and cozy, my room was not too big, but large enough to feel comfortable. Despite being right on Atlantic Avenue, it was quiet. The parking lot was small and crowded, but they had another one just a couple minutes away from the hotel. It looked very clean, modern, and amenities were just right.
