We a had a room on the 11. floor which was very noisy through the ac outside working for the whole building
"Decent stay"
Stayed there for a few days at Daegu. Novotel is one of the newer ones. It is located in the central location of the town and parking is conveniently located at the basement without additional fee. The hotel is not the top of the line but it was def. decent stay. The only cons would be "no WIFI in the room."
"Would I recommend? No - and yes"
If you're flexible, this hotel will be satisfactory. VERY little English is spoken, so unless your Korean's good... Hotel starts on 7th floor; elevators but no bellmen. No drawer space. All room instructions for AC, very fancy toilet, etc. are in Korean. Staff is pleasant and wants to help but language barrier can make it hard. "You asked 3 times for this, so........"
Purchased 2 rooms for two nights from Hotels.com. You don't have family rooms (two queen beds) so we had to get two rooms. Used Novotel website and Google Maps for research. Both rooms were to be non-smoking; on check-in, only one non-smoking was available. After occupying rooms and going to dinner, it was clear A/C didn't work in one. After tech visit, […] waited 2 hours for effect....there was none. Was offered another room; surprise, a non-smoking replacement was available! Do tell! The lone single-pane window (original or a repair?) among the wall of double pain windows let in all of the central Daegu nightime fun and traffic noise; I discovered this when I got up to look for what I thought must have been an open window. "Best hotel in Daegu"
This is a great hotel. Very centrally located with some fun bars and clubs and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are very new, modern and clean. Great showers and clean bathrooms. Free high-speed internet (not common among top level hotels in Korea). Service is friendly and efficient. By far the best hotel in Daegu! 노보텔 전반적으로 서비스/위치/청결상태 만족합니다. 다만 1F 주차할때 호텔 STAFF의 고객 응대가 좀 소홀하다는 생각이 들었어요. 전반적으로 만족입니다.
"ノボテルテグシティーセンター"
テグへの一人旅ではもっと小さいホテルに宿泊しますが、家族と一緒に行くときは必ずこのホテルを利用します。 ここに家族で宿泊する理由は、なんといっても立地条件と部屋の快適さです。 いつもスーペリアツインに宿泊しますが、ベッドは２台共、普通のシングルより大きめですし、お部屋も広いし清潔。アメニティーもそれなりにちゃんと揃っています。 部屋のグラスが良いものなので、割ると請求されます。気をつけてください((笑))。でも、請求額も真っ当な値段なので、そうおびえることもないのですが；； 多くの部屋に泊まったわけではないので断言できませんが、私が泊まる部屋にはいつも必ずベッド以外にソファーベッドらしきソファーとテーブルがあります。このソファーで寛ぐのが大好きです。ベッド以外の場所でもゆっくり寛げるスペース […] があるというのは本当にうれしい。 大きいデスクもあります。 バス＆トイレは別々です。かなり広いスペースをバス＆トイレに確保していて明るいし、清潔で気持ちがいい。バスタブはありません。シャワーのみです。 ただ・・・区切るドアが全て透明のガラスなので、慣れてない人や気になる人には抵抗があるかもしれません。ちなみに、部屋とバス＆トイレを区切るドアは中が見えないようなものですので御安心を。 フロントでチェックインした後はカードキーなのでチェックアウトまで特に用事が無い限りはフロントに行く必要が無く便利。エレベーターもカードキーを機械にタッチ後、フロアのボタンを押すタイプで安心です。 WiFiはフロントに近いほどよくつながりますが、離れたところに位置する部屋だとつながらない可能性があります。 私はこのホテルが大好きだから、今後も利用しますが、ただ一つだけマイナス点をあえてあげるとしたら、フロントスタッフがもう少し愛想よく接してくれたらなと思います。前回宿泊のチェックイン時に男性スタッフ二人がいましたが、私が外国からの客だったからか、少し面倒臭そうな表情をしていた印象があったので・・・。今回はいい雰囲気の男性スタッフが気持ちの良い接客をしてくれたのでホッとしましたが。 最後に立地条件についてですが、テグの中心地にある地下鉄の「중앙로駅」からすぐです。街の中心に立地しているので、飲食店やショッピングに困ることはありません。百貨店、映画館など何でもあります。街なので大型スーパーだけは少し離れますが、それでも徒歩で行こうと思えば行けるし、タクシーやバスを使えばあっという間です。KTXでテグ入りしてホテルに向かう方は「동대구駅」から地下鉄１号線に乗って「중앙로駅」で下車してください。 Ďalšie informácie
"ノボテル 大邱シティセンター"
大邱だからこの値段で宿泊できたのだと思いますが、さすがノボテル！素晴らしい！ お部屋は広いし、ベッドの寝心地も最高。 総ガラス張りのトイレとシャワールームは、ちょっと抵抗ありましたが、あの解放感になれたら優雅ささえ感じられました。機会があったら、また泊まりたいです。 フロントで近隣のお店を尋ねたら、PCで地図までプリントアウトしてくれました。 ソウルで数多く泊まったホテルもあわせても、ノボテルは最高ランクです！
"ノボテル・テグ、快適でした"
夜、かなり遅い時間に到着したのですが、スタッフの対応は丁寧で、また、モダンなのにウッディなあたたかさのあるお部屋で、快適に滞在出来ました。 テグ駅、地下鉄駅にも近く、特に地下鉄の駅とホテルとは地下商店街で繋がっているので、移動の際もとても便利です。 唯一の難点は、3機あるエレベーターがなかなか来ないこと。フロントが8階なのですが、チェックインもアウトの際も、エレベーターの待ち時間がかなりありました。 全体に、かなり満足度の高いホテルでした。
"ノボテル大邱シティセンター"
チェックイン時、フロントが真っ暗だった。節電かと思い、部屋に入ったら、電気も付かない・・・フロントに問い合わせたら、突然の停電との事・・・チェックイン時に忠告してよね・・・30分程で電機は復活。あと部屋の清掃だが、３泊滞在して、ベッドシーツ、枕カバー替えてないんじゃない？と思った。見つけたシミが一緒だったもん。それ以外の対応はよかったかな。また大邱に訪れた時は利用すると思う。もっと安ければ・・・

I apprcitd this hotel becuse of the kindness of hotel staffs. The location is also good. It is center of the city, so you can fnd hundreds of good Korean restaurants.
