Drumnadrochit Hotel - Škótska vysočina

This was a last minute booking for us, and personally I think we chose the wrong one. The room we got was in a chalet out the back with no view, the room was freezing cold with only an electric heater under the window. The walls and ceiling were clad in pine boarding, and looks dated. Bed was clean and comfortable, but the small TV was to far way to […] watch from the bed. Hoped breakfast was going to be the saving grace, but the full cooked breakfast seemed over cooked. Staff was very nice , food very good. Room looked tired but was ok , bed was very noisy and so were the people in the room next door, the thin wall didn't not retain the noise (from simple discussions to parents shouting after screaming kids )

we where looking for peace and quite and we were not let down,our stay was excellent and the young staff in particular the F & B staff where excellant. We where kind of dissapointed in the bedroom but it was acceptable albeit not to sure about the sauna style looks but overall the room was comfortable. Alf was a tireless worker looking for perfection […] from all his staff and as a hotel manager myself if i could add a bit of advice it would be to try and seperate the very small TV lounge area from the restaurant area just to give it that little bit privicy from both sides but i know it is difficult to please all in a difficult location otherwise we would recomend your hotel to others. Only real complaint given the price was the fact that the internet was non-functional even in main building. When one chooses hotels in part by there being wifi throughout, this is an issue. Otherwise, good value for the money - basic, but fine

The hotel was clean and the majority of the staff were all friendly however there were a few issues such as: - Part of the cooked breakfast was missing but nobody informed us. Instead we got a cooked breakfast minus some bits and pieces. It would have been nice if these missing items had been replaced with something different. - There was no toilet […] roll holder in the bathroom - There was no soap holder in the bathroom. Instead this was simply sitting loose on the bath. - Lunch at the cafe was very expensive considering there wasn't even any cleans forks in the cutlery tray! Despite the above points our stay was still nice and the staff were friendly which made up for these shortfalls. Perfect location - close to Fort Augustus where we watched the locks open to let boats through on the Caledonia Canal. Glenvida Hotel - 1 mile away has a great little bar where people really love their dogs !! Have never seen so many dogs in a bar but no problems with them whatsoever . Drumnadrochit is in a great location right near by local sites and in the middle of Loch Ness. Very cute, and great service with a fantastic breakfast for the morning. Would recommend to any wandering traveller if you need a place to stop off for the night.

Right beside the Loch Ness Centre with shops around the centre. Very handy location on a trip around Loch Ness. The resturant has very good food at resonable prices and my husband and I would recommend getting the pork. Very good high pressure shower also!

This hotel is very well located especially if you have plans to visit The Lochness Center and Castle of Drumnadrochit. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very good value for money.

Det ligger jo godt i forhold til søen, men når man kommer i oktober, så er der rigtig koldt på værelset, da vinduerne er utætte og der var ingen varmt vand til bad om morgen. Et godt spisested til middag, og nogenlunde morgenmad.
