I had an amazing stay, I was giong to the graduation at Fort Jackson and the hotel was very close which was convienent. The service was good with a great hotel staff!

"Will Stay Again"
The lobby is small, and the front desk clerk seemed frazzled with only two guests at the counter. Room was nice, clean. Bathroom was a good size and clean, but paint was peeling over the shower. Was a bit put off when we called the front desk to inquire about coming down to get an additional blanket and were told "only one more per room, that's the […] limit!" "Clean, quiet, roomy!"
Excellent stay... The recliner in the living room was a welcome sight after a long drive. Great room!

I reallly enjoyed my stay at Candlewood! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was great, full kitchen! I loved the fact that it was a quiet hotel.... I did not hear my neighbors or people in the hall. The hotel is located right next to a fire station, but I only heard it twice during my stay there for five days... once in the evening and […] another time in the morning (it wasn't so bad). They only clean the room if you stay for a full 7 day week, but I didn't mind. I took the trash out to a big trash can which was located at the end of the hall. All in all it was comfortable, quiet and friendly! Oh yeah you get free cookies at the front desk in the evening, also free laundry services, too... just bring your detergent or buy some from front desk! "Came for Fort Jackson Graduation"
Easy to find, great room, a few exits away from the graduation entrance at Ft Jackson, but just 5 min away on the freeway - and much lower price than closer hotels. Quiet stay, huge guest laundry, fitness room and wi-fi. Excellent stay for the price!
AC was on pretty high so room was chilly when we checked in. No major issue to fix though. Also, there were loud people outside our door early in the morning but again that's not the hotel's fault--just inconsiderate people!

"EXCELLENT SERVICE & LOCATION"
I WAS THERE FOR MY SONS GRADUATION AT FT. JACKSON AND THE LOCATION WAS EXECELLENT TO THE HOTEL. THE AREA HAD SEVRAL CHOICES OF PURCHASING ITEMS THAT WERE NEEDED AND RESTUARANTS WERE VERY NEAR WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. THE POOL MADE A BIG BIG DIFFERENCE BECAUSE OT THE EXTREME HEAT IT WAS VERY COOL AND CONVINIENT TO PASS THE TIME.

I've stayed in many hotels in the Columbia area due to my various assignments to Ft. Jackson. This hotel was by-far the cleanest, quietest, nicest hotel in the area. The room was perfect size, offering a small kitchen and full-size fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable with high quality linen. I was surprised to find out housekeeping only comes […] once a week, but towels are always available from the front desk. There were many stores and restaurants in the area, including a Walmart only one block away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has free of charge laundry room, which was well maintained with quality machines. The pool area was small, and offered very few patio chairs and now loungers. NICE HOTEL BUT WEBSITE STATES IT IS VERY CLOSE TO FORT JACKSON. IT COST $12.00 EACH WAY TO FORT JACKSON WHICH I HAD HOPE TO AVOID BY INCURRING THE COST IN THE THE ROOM RESERVATION.

I booked 2 rooms for my sons' Boot Camp graduation, one for me and one for my parents. Both rooms were wonderful! My folks' room had a broken shower head but as soon as we told the front desk, they got someone up there to fix it. "Outstanding Hotel in Columbia SC"
One of the newer hotels in Columbia. Very upscale with granite counter tops in kitchen area and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and well organized. Rooms come with extra towels and storage room for luggage. Flat screen tv with dvd player and dvd video library downstairs was a big plus.
