La Farge Perry House - Newport

My boyfriend and I stayed for a Saturday night in December. Being it was the slow season, our room was upgraded to a beautiful bedroom with a large bathroom, and separate sitting area with chaise lounge overlooking downtown and the harbor. We were only there for 12 hours or so but the B & B is stunning and the baked goods and breakfast provided by Midge were outstanding.

The BnB was a lovely period building furnished to a very high standard (better than our home, that's for sure). Mitch the landlady was an excellent host and provided a very good breakfast plus directions around the local area. Really close to Newport's mansions and town centre. Stylish rooms, four-poster bed and giant bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. Don't miss the home-made coconut macaroons.

This B&B was beautiful and the staff was so accomadating. The breakfast was wonderful and Midge, the hostess, makes the best cookies and makes a bag of her specialty cookies to take home with you. I would stay here again and again.

We loved our stay here - it was such a cute, comfortable place, and the service was terrific. Only a few minutes walk to the waterfront. You can't beat the breakfast - nor the cookies from Midge! She had a platter of homemade cookies upon our arrival, then sent us off with a couple for the road and the recipe. We'll certainly be back.

The Inn is in a great location within easy walking distance of the harbour/restaurants/shops. Midge will make you most welcome, giving advice on eating out, sight seeing etc. The Inn is beautiful, full of antiques, lovely rooms and bathrooms. Visit the Mansions nearby and eat out at `the Moorings` or `Clarke Cookhouse` at the harbour.

LaFarge Perry House was wonderful. Very nicely appointed, very clean, great linens. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent - Midge is a fabulous cook. It was very comfortable and a great place to spend a long weekend.

La Farge Perry House is a beautiful bed and breakfast in a great location (only one mile to the Newport Mansions). Our room was very comfortable. Great breakfast and a very nice innkeeper. I would definitely stay here again.

If you enjoy graciousness, cleanliness, scrumptious food, luxury, and comfort at an affordable price; this is the place for you.

This is a very nice place to stay in Newport. It is managed by a former chef, who does wonders with breakfast. The room was a bit small, but comfortable for its size and nicely decorated. Walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants and a short drive to the Breakers. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at this B&B - we went in the fall. It was clean, warm, cozy and inviting. The service was great - an excellent cook and great suggestions for restaurants/activities in town. Give her a call directly before you book and she can help you pick out the exact room that's right for you.
