Everything worked out perfectly, I wad only about 5 min away the training camp facility, so there were no traffic issues. The hotel was clean and the staff at the front desk was very courteous. The only issue I had was a misunderstanding in payment. I wad charged for an extra night stay which resulted in an over draft banking account. "Worth every penny we paid -- service + cleanliness"
We (family of four, with two little ones under 3 years) stayed over-night before our flight at IAD in the morning. The room was quiet and refreshingly clean. We checked in around 11pm without any problems; despite the hour, the hotel clerk behind the desk was friendly and presented himself wonderfully. When we asked, he supplied us with a nice (clean!) […] travel cot for our 7 month old. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was ready by 6am and we were able to eat a nice, quick (hot) breakfast before catching the 6:30am shuttle to the airport. This is a very nice hotel. Remember that it is Non-Smoking which I wasn't not informed of. ALSO, this hotel charges a fee which is called an Incidental fee. The hotel did not inform me of this charge at reservation, prior to checking in, at check in or check out. I did not find out about this fee until I checked my bank account the next day. When I […] spoke with the front desk associate at the hotel she informed me that all hotels charge this fee. NOT, this has never, ever, been charged to my card in ANY hotel I've stayed at. And if this is the hotel policy then the hotel should inform the customer of this BEFORE they make reservations or give their card number!!! I was also told that the fee would be refunded after check out. This did not take place. I checked in on a Friday, check out on Saturday and still have not received my refund. Today is Wednesday. We do charge for what are referred to as “incidentals” which are things like room service, phone calls, and any other extra you need to pay for. If you happened to smoke in the room the cleaning and de-odorizing charge is another type of incidental charge. "24 hour shuttle and most comfortable pull out sofa"
I think my title pretty much covers it but it was lovely to discover a hotel so close to IAD with a 24-hour free shuttle service as well as the most comfortable pull out sofa bed I have ever slept on! As an adult traveling with my parents, the wall partition was not as ideal as a separate bedroom for them however it was better than two beds side by […] side. We were pleased all the way around with the SpringHill Suites. The suite was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower strong, the breakfast food good, the fitness room adequate. We were especially blessed in that we were permitted a later check-out time because we had an afternoon wedding to attend. The whole staff was vry grateful. the hotel was very nice. close to food and air and space museum. The service was excellent. I would recommend. My only complaint was the hot tub could be looked after better there was a ton of kids staying in the hotel due to some tournament and the hot tub was not clean.
