I booked this hotel Specifically because I wanted a Double Bed. On arriving to my room I found I had been allocated a twin. I phoned reception to get moved but was told all the doubles were full and i was moved because i was a single occupant. Basically its tuff luck! So sleep was bad, When i tried to pull the beds together I saw the state of the floor […] underneath! Not good!! Also there was a door joining next door which was so thin we could hear each other sleeping.... Got up to have a shower only to find that the shower was just a dribble, This wasnt just mine either. The hotels frontage looks tired due to all the blown bulbs. I would rather have stayed at the travel lodge across the Street. I'd recommend the Grand over this place. Ďalšie informácie

Hotel shows a 4 star AA rating on the way in but the decor and general demeanour of the place is pretty dated now and is really only a 3, hotel room pretty basic and in need of a freshen up.

Ordered breakfast in the room for 0930/10.00 did not arrive and it was 10.30 so we cancelled it

A quite nice hotel in a great location but the bedroom we stayed in was looking a bit tired and dated. Great car parking and greta value at £5.00 for the night and next day till 6pm. Reception staff helpful.

Not vey easy access with car. Exzellent Rate for last Minute booking. Friendly and helpful staff at reception desk.

The hotel was not quite as easy to find from the train station as advertized, but it was within reasonable walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions. I had assumed wifi would be available free in rooms, but that was a separate fee. Free wifi was only available in the lobby.

Romada Bristol has the best staff i have encounted in any UK hotel. I have been on a tour with work across the UK and this hotel really stood out , the staff were fantstic, polite , helpful infact they the hotel offered the easiest check in , advice for going for meals , places/areas best to visit, how to get there etc , the rooms are imaculate , really […] impressed with the male on reception especially . The rooms were ok, the service was ok, the restaurant was cold and univiting, food was ok, both breakfast and dinner, considering the cost of the venue and having to pay extra for breakfast i was quite dissappointed. Have stayed here before but wont bother again.

I stayed in the Ramada Bristol City (Ramada Plaza?) for 2 nights during a visit to Bristol. Location was ideal, very close to Temple Meads station. Service was ok, could have been better. Food was excellent both in the restaurant and room service. Unfortunately all this was let down by the substandard cleanliness - filthy toilet which still was not […] cleaned the second day and holes in the bedsheets to name a couple. Would expect that someone who had time to enjoy the spa and swimming pool etc may enjoy their stay more than I did, but for the price I paid, I expected a cleaner hotel. We were initially allocated a smoking room (both of us are non-smokers) which was unpleasant and we had to ask twice to be moved, which eventually we were. This then caused issues when we went for breakfast as we were not listed under either our original room number or the new room. Hotel was hosting a Christmas party until 01.00 with very loud music […] so had little sleep. Bed rock hard and uncomfortable. Only one pillow each. Only one bath towel and one hand towel in the room so we had to request more. Bathroom floor unclean. Carpet in bedroom stained and worn, in dire need of replacement. Not very helpful staff, little interest in customers. There is a good choice of hotels in Bristol I will stay in another next time.

Within walking distance to most attractions/landmarks, and the City Bus tour even has a stop right out in front of the hotel. It's even a short ~5min walk to the Temple Meads rail station if you are coming via train.

In a brilliant city centre location, just a short stroll away from the marina and the shopping district. I had a comfortable stay and the staff were great. Pity about the charge for their internet service.
