Overall quite a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent! Hotel room was quite comfortable but the bathroom is pretty dated & needs a serious "re-vamp".

No free or cheap internet. Who will pay 30 dollars for 1 day of internet. Hilton should have internet free or fairly cheap. Internet is no longer a service...is a comodity. The hotel is kind of dirty, old. The lobby is shinning though. I will never step into a Hilton for quite a long time.

Located right off the Metro line. Clean, nice hotel. Needs some updating, but for the price and location, you cant beat it. Its two stops away from the city center. The surronding neighborhood is a nice non touristy local area. Great little markets, resteraunts and shops. Staff was very pleasant. We found the staff exceptionally helpful and the location very good, especially for coming from or going to the airport. What lets the hotel down is the fact that it doesn't provide free wifi and the charges for a connection are unreasonable.

This hotel is in a great location. From the airport we took the train straight into the stop underneath the hotel therefore no carrying a case around the streets. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk into the centre of Munich but its a lovely walk with lovely views. The hotel has a lovely lounge,cafe and bar area. On arrival to the hotel at 6pm, we were advised there had been water damage on our floor and we could not check in until 8:30pm. The hotel offered us free dinner in their restaurant (approximately equivalent to 40 euros per person, drinks not included). This was appreciated since there wasn't much they could do to clean the floor more quickly. The […] room was clean, but not the bathroom. It appeared they had used the sink to drain the cleaning water as there was residue all over the sink. I cleaned it myself. The bathtub had several hairs in it. The staff at the hotel are excellent and very helpful, and the rooms are large by European standards. Arrival from the airport could not be easier. Followed by a friendly and cheerful reception on booking in. The staff should be praised for their willingness to go the extra mile to make our stay so comfortable. Good hotel in convenient location but the price of the breakfast was quite extortionate! We were originally given a smoking room which I found strange as we checked in with a baby but we were given an alternative relatively quickly. Good cafe in the lobby.

We Felt the hotel standard was very high. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately we had to ask for another pillow several times. Location is quite convenient because we went to a concert at Tonhalle, which was about a 10 minute walk. Same distance is to city center with the famous city hall and shopping district. There's parking at the hotel, but not included and no discount for hotel guests, so it's 22 EUR per day. Wi-fi is also a surcharge - 9 EUR for a mobile device, 20 EUR […] for a computer. Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Close enough to Old City of Munich and could walk to Marienplatz in 20-30 minutes or by Metro from just in front of the hotel in 5-10 min. Everything was good but breakfast is too expensive. No free wi-fi, the charge was 9€ a day. Most smaller hotels include breakfast and free wi- fi for less money. Location was very good from the airport, short train ride with no transfer and the hotel is very close to the metro.

Convenient location - two train stops from the Munich Town Centre. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Only disappointment was house cleaning knocking on the door at 8am to make up room. After the second night we put up the 'we are relaxing sign'. Internet not free.

We had stayed at quite a few hotels ( with free wi fi) in different cities before coming here to a fancy,upmarket hotel only to find that wi fi was not free! Our stay was superb and will definitely use this hotel again as we could not fault it.The hotel is just across the road from our son's apartment and as our trip was to see our new born grand-daughter, we couldn't have asked for more. Made me wonder if Hilton is a business model that has lived its life. Tired overall. The most annoying thing was the charge for wifi. Seriously, for a hotel targeting primarily business people? I can assure you that almost now one does this anymore, unless of course you are in the “Ryanair” type of business or in Moscow. Everything was great except for the charge on the wifi. This was the only hotel in Europe out of 8 that charged us for internet. The staff was outstanding, however. Housekeeping, concierge, and front desk were all extremely helpful and friendly.

A good quality hotel and one that I would recommend for a short business trip or weekend break. A good location outside of the town centre and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the historic town centre.

While we were booking, we requested connecting room or rooms near to each other. When we got there, they put my parents and little sister in one room and my two sisters and I ten rooms away. Then the reception told us to wait till the next day so they could find us the rooms we wanted. We waited for an hour and started packing so we could move. The hotel rooms were quite congested for a big family like us. I recommend this hotel for business stays only. The breakfast was good, but the location of the hotel was away from the Main City Centre. We had to take the underground subway to get there. There is also no free wifi. A fairly spacious room, although we were given a room with accommodations for disabled folks. They tried to sell us on pre-paying breakfast for 20 euros ... down from 28 euros at the time of actual breakfast. Hotel is looking a bit worn, with scuffs on the walls and places needing paint. Brilliant location for all the sights of Munich - very close to the wonderful Volksbad which we enjoyed. I have stayed there before and it will do so again - definitley my first choice hotel for Munich!

The rooms were large enough to accomodate 3 adults. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Did not have free internet. We were able to walk to Marianplatz within 15 minutes. The hotel is close to a grocery store and a couple of blocks from an several restaurants and bakeries.

Front desk staff very friendly and check in process smooth. Room size great for a European hotel. Had a room with a nice view of the front street. Concierge wasn't too helpful with suggestions for things to do. As usual, we had high expectations for a Hilton hotel but we were disappointed with the high level of smoke odor in our room and on our floor. […] (It was a non-smoking floor, so it really should have been smoke odor free). Internet was an extra charge: 9 Euros/day for smart phone only, or about 22 Euros/day for laptop device. In this day and age internet should be a given. I rather the room charge be increased and have the internet included than have to make a separate transaction. With so many hotels offering free internet it seems like a way to nickel and dime us to death. Breakfast was great, good selection, great service. Location excellent, connected to subway system and easy to get around. A separate elevator takes you from the lobby to the Rosenheimer Platz metro station. When you arrive, follow the signs to the hotel. If there are no signs, you're at the wrong exit - just go back down to the train platform, walk the length, and go up the other escalator where you will see the Hilton signs.
