This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Very small worn downed rooms and unfriendly personell. The male receptionist reminded us of John Cleese in Faulty Tower. He was furious that we had made an onlinereservation by Hotels.com - when his "IT-departement" no longer where there, and he had no keys in to the room where the computers and mail were!!

Very nice hotel in the center of Luxembourg city. Maybe a little old fashioned but very elegant.

This is a very nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay - but I was surprised to be charged for internet connection. The description of the hotel on the web site gives the impression that the internet connection is included in the room cost. It is not. Wonderful service. Beautiful locaton. Great, reasonably priced room. Two eateries with many more nearby.

The rooms that are not renovated are pretty bad. Glad I only had to stay one night! Service is fine!

The hotel is old and definitely requires renovation, but it is situated conveniently within walking distance to all major tourist attractions Also the quality of services leaves a lot to be desired. Reception desk and waiters and room service should be more efficient, that's for sure.

I booked a room here at the last minute based on a special we found here on Hotels.com. The room was very nice but very warm, even with the window open (it faced an interior well). I tried to bear with it but could not sleep because of the heat. I called the front desk (at 2:30 AM) to see if I could get a fan and even though engineering was closed for […] the night, the gentleman at the front desk was able to find and bring a fan to my room which made everything much more comfortable. The hotel is fantastically located, very close to the old market and other points of interest which are within a walking distance from it. It's the greatest asset. Unfortunately, although a 4* hotel it doesn't live up to this classification. The rooms we lived in were considerably run down, the reception and restaurant service not always friendly and […] efficient. And the quality of room service was definitely not up to the standard - cleaning left a little to be desired, toilet paper, shampoo, water etc. not always supplied so we had to ask for it and wait quite long for them to arrive. Fabulous little hotel, ideally situated at Place de la Consitution, right across the street from where all the tour buses pick you up to take you around town. Great staff & a wonderful happy hour. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone!

Good quality hotel with traditional buffet (croissants, ham cheese, fruit, coffee) type breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable but quite muggy when arriving after a heavy July downpour (not uncommon in these parts I understand) - hence my comment about the aircon.

The hotel is nice. Breakfast is nice, though they tend to run out of some of the foods. The location is super. The big problem is the 30 Euro per day WiFi charge. For that extra 30 Euros, you can probably find a hotel that is just as nice (maybe nicer) with free WiFi.

I stayed here for two nights. The first night I was given a room that had a small bed (for two people), no air conditioning and on the top floor. I had to request a fan and even then the room was hot. I requested a change of room the next day and they thankfully obliged. The room had a radio set that was really antiquated and a 20-inch Nokia TV that […] was at least 12-15 years old. I have never stayed in a worse hotel room and based on this room alone I would classify this as a two-star hotel, at best. Stanza molto molto piccola, wireless a pagamento anche se indicato come free, hotel molto vecchio, stanze non pulitissime.

Vores værelse var beliggende ud til gaden og med udsigt til et smukt monument. Der var mulighed for at åbne vinduerne.

un mélange de style dans la déco qui donne une atmosphére particuliére, pas resté assez longtemps pour qualifier cette atmosphère. mais j'ai bien aimé.. personnel très disponible ! hotel très bien situé. je recommande

Bra hotell, perfekt läge, trevlig personal, ojämn kvalite på rummen, vi bytte, framför allt är läget oslagbart.

God beliggenhet på et noe slitt hotell. Noe frustrerende å måtte betale 30 Euro for 24 timer med WIFI.

Men det er jo ikke de beste rommene man får når man bestiller slik. Hotellet er veldig sentralt, frokosten er ok, men rommene er trassige - hadde utsikt til veggen to meter borte, og de har ikke pusset opp på leeeenge. De sier de er fire stjerner, og kanske var de det da de åpnet, men ikke nå!

Hotel très cher pour le service, le wifi est payant et les prix des repas très cher. La télévision tube cathodique très ancienne et la télécommande ne fonctionne pas a tout les coups.

Albergo fatiscente, anche se, sicuramente, in passato deve essere stato di qualità. Al risveglio, una mattina, abbiamo trovato tutte le porte ricoperte di carta, perché stavano riverniciando gli infissi, senza aver avvisato in anticipo per l'odore e il fastidio. Televisore preistorico. Wi-Fi costosissimo.

L'albergo è in pieno centro, se si ha la camera su Bvd Roosvelt si gode anche di una vista magnifica. Servizio buono, buffet colazione adeguato, camera - considerato il prezzo scontato - soddisfacente. Grand Hotel Cravat is prachtig gelegen, op loopafstand van het station van Luxemburg stad. Mijn late aankomst in de februarikou in de hotellobby bevestigde mijn eerste indruk van vervlogen tijden waarin luxe en comfort hoog in het vaandel van dit hotel stonden ingeschreven. Het hotel heeft beslist charme en is nog steeds luxueus - ruime kamer en badkamer! […] - en comfortabel, maar is duidelijk aan renovatie en vernieuwing toe. Het ademt een aangename sfeer uit en heeft een persoonlijk cachet, dankzij deze indruk van "vergane glorie". Prachtige ontbijtzaal en buffet, schitterend gelegen met mooi uitzicht. Starfsfólki skorti alla þjónustulund að undanteknum einum starfsmanni á barnum sem var í alla staði kurteis. Herbergin voru pínulítil og mjög lúin. Staðsetningin mjög góð.

Dette hotel kan vi desværre ikke anbefale. Primært på grund af et usædvanlig ringe værelse og en meget uvenlig receptionist, men også fordi hotellets beliggenhed gør det vanskeligt at finde en sikker parkeringsplads.

Det bedste ved hotellet er beliggenhed og vi valgte det af den aarsag og saa fordi vi har haft gode ophold det for 18 og 23 aar siden. Problemet er at der ikke foretaget nogen synlig renovation eller vedligeholdelse siden.

The hotel was perfectly located and the staff was very pleasant and serviceminded. The reception area was nice and cozy. Very charming. I think our room was one of the ones next in line for renovation though. It seemed old and smelled old. Paint was peeling, the carpet was worn to the floor and newspaper on the floor. Dette var virkelig et flott hotell. Gammelt men flott. Rent, og bra vedlikeholdt. Stort rom, med stort bad. Døgnåpen resepsjon, pikkolo, ja, det meste. Hotellet ligger midt i sendtrum av byen. Så gikk til og fra alt på denne turen. Alt av uteplasser og butikker ligger rett oppi gata fra dette hotellet. Servicen var meget bra. Frokosten var noe mangelfull, […] men ikke verre enn det. Veldig bra beliggenhet, sentralt i forhold til hyggelige restauranter og serverdigheter. Bra hotell: ærverdig stil og grei frokost. Kommer til å bo her igjen pga beliggenhet

Et hotel der oser af atmosfære, med en fantastisk beliggenhed med udsigt over "Grund". Serviceniveauet er meget højt Værelserne er små- men OK
