The staff was nice but they were way behind on having the rooms clean. I didn't get my room until after 6. The room was mostly clean but the blanket had two stains on it which grossed my wife out. The office staff was accomidating but we seen a critter, there was water marks on the walls from a leak. The room. Needed to be aired out and the doors did not make my family feel safe. Couldn't check in until 4:30 and were only able to check in at that time due to staff adjusting our room to another floor, although this seemed to inconvenience them. I was very glad that I was only staying for one night. The toilet in the room would spontaneously run on and off all night; the air conditioning made the room freezing when it was running and uncomfortably warm when it wasn't, the bed-a mattress on a platform- was not very comfortable. Well from the outside it looks nice, but the inside looks like a rundown motel. It's ridiculously rundown, the elevators were not only slow, but one day all of them were down and had wiring coming down from the roof. The maids were using dirty sheets, the comforter had blood stains on it, I couldn't find one piece of linen without a stain or marking […] on it, first hour in my room I found a disgusting funky tampon in the bathroom. The balcony, wow it was a small sese pool of mold, and broken glass. We had the partial ocean view, ruined. The AC was filthy, I turned it on and got covered in some black particles. Bathroom and showers were ok, but the towels were rough as sand paper and yet again stained.The front desk tried to help, the pool needs the be cleaned, yet the indoor pool was heated. Amazingly this weed is in a bundle of flowers. It's surrounded by attractions. Nevertheless, this is a 2 star hotel not a 3 star resort, don't be lured in by price. "Good if you just want somewhere to sleep"
The view from our beachfront room was amazing! The best thing about this resort. The room was pretty nice and appeared clean upon arrival but in 3 days we were never visited by housekeeping. We asked a maid for towels which we were given, unfortunately the towels were rougher than the broken shells along the beach. The resort boasts a hot tub that we […] never managed to find and were told was being repaired anyway, along with an indoor pool that seemed more like a mud puddle with paint flaking off the walls and cracked outdated tile floors, the outdoor pool seemed pretty clean but we didn't want to risk it. They also advertise a tiki bar and restaurant which never opened the entire time we were there. The staff were friendly enough but not exactly professional. It would of been nice in a "resort" to have someone help with our luggage but we got pointed in the direction of luggage carts from the 80's and handed a room key. We were left to wander around the hotel trying to find our car parked on the first floor of the parking deck until another guest informed us the elevator from the hotel to the deck only went to the 2nd floor and up. Don't expect any frills like breakfast, room service, or anything else u would expect from a resort but if u just need a place to sleep and a great view this is your "resort".
