Hollywood Liberty Hotel - Hollywood

We stayed here because of the central location, just a couple blocks from Hollywood Boulevard. The service was friendly and free parking was a plus. The room was not in great shape- broken tiles on the bathroom floor, the toilet was tipped at a steep angle, the blinds were old and broken, wifi connection was awful, and the windows wouldn't stay open […] unless you propped something in them. On the plus side, it was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. Definitely not a luxury hotel experience, but if you just want a place to sleep, it's fine. Ďalšie informácie

1st The Location, Do you know Hollywood and Highland. This is Right there, two doors to the Mall!!! Well, the back door, still very sweet address 2nd The Price, that's the reason you're looking at this place, this is not a spa, motelish, by Hollywood BLVD, trust me, you'll be on the BLVD not the room chillin' 3rd The Room, we had a twin queens, yep, […] had a frig for liquids, a TV for Visuals, Shower and toilet, and a sink, Iron with Board, free wireless! The place is old, our room was clean, it came with a parking spot!!! OMG Your gonna be on Hollywood BLVD. So, I read some other peoples comments, some of them should have stayed at the near by spa, for three times as much, some of the others should have immediately asked for a room change. When we checked in about 3pm, staff was changing linens and about their business, I would suggest on checking in before going to an early dinner. So, if your romancing somebody, try some other place, if somebody ever called you a princess or high maintenance, try some other place. Dead-bolt & chain on door both broken. Outlet covers missing or hanging loose. Refrigerator not working. Sheets had not been changed on one bed - hairs on pillow case & sheets. Bathroom is a PIT! Cracked & missing tiles, black mold all around shower, dark green mold inside shower handle. Bottom half of window just lifts out. No TP holder, grungy shower […] curtain. I enjoyed my time. Good location

This hotel is in an excellent position to walk to everything you would want to do in Hollywood. An older hotel, so a tad tired but clean, breakfast included was adequate....added bonus free wifi! If ever I visited Hollywood again I would definitely stay here again......the location was the best!

Although this hotel was in a prime location the staff and service were horrible. we requested room service and they entered our room and only took our towels.....they didn't even change the linen on the bed. The shower was so small you could barely turn around in it and I'm not a big person. Made reservations months in advance requesting king sized bed and second floor room. Neither came through although reservation confirmation noted king bed! No one seemed to care about anything. Certainly when booking an economy room there should be a lower level of expectation but this place didn't even come close! Linens were sub par and there wasn't even a mattress pad on one of the beds. It appeared that the cleaning staff lacked the ability to clean. Floor tiles were cracked and there was some strange rust coming from under the sink. The toilet seat made you feel as if it had not survived an earthquake.We had stayed at "the place across the street" in January and should have done so again. Additionally the coffee was like the classic dishwater and the bagels/muffins were too stale to consume. You have been warned! I have never walked straight out of a hotel before but my god this was just plain awful. Room smelled of bleach, had no pillows on the bed other than the ones with the thick blanket covering matching the bedspread, not cotton. No door on the toilet / bathroom. My wife just said "I can't stay here" and I had to agree. We left! I […] told the receptionist that we would pay for the 1st night but expected a refund for the other 2 nights. I contacted Hotels.com and they told me several days later that they were still having problems with the hotel getting them to agree to a refund. They can have the money but please be warned. The good points, 1 block off of Sunset & walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl. Tha downfall is that these are like singles apartments from the 1920's, that have not been updated, except, a t.v.

Arrived to hotel after 12 hour flight and 2.5 hour wait at airport at 8PM. Receptionist said: "oh did you not receive email about relocation?"We did not get any email at all and were not happy to hear that. Receptionist then said to wait while he called his manager. Went to move car to the carpark at the back and receptionist came out to tell us, that they actualy have room available for us right now, so we checked in and went in our room! Really felt like in some reality show where they try to create tension in order to get the happy ending! Silly really, they had room so why the drama? Anyway, after that all was great, our room was huge, hotel has excellent location, just 3 min walk from Hollywood boulevard and subway stop(went to Universal studios, just one stop on subway). Breakfast was good enough for us, I had croisant with strawberry jam and husband had bagel with cream cheese, coffee, juice, ceral all available, could not fault it. Had diner at Le Oriental Bistro at North Highland Avenue, 250m from hotel, had amazing orange chicken, it was dinner menu with soup and spring rolls all for $12! Even though the cost was reasonable, I found service less than adequate. I had to bring to management's attention that my room wasn't securely locked in which they fixed the door two days later. I was told we might have to change to another room in three days since they booked another party. ( Mind you , I made my reservation in November). The people at the Liberty were very nice. It is a very low key, relaxed place right in the heart of Hollywood at a price that simply can not be beat. I'll be staying here anytime I'm looking for a hotel in that area.

This hotel is located behind Kodak theatre. You can walk everywhere in hollywood and walk to metro station and chinese theatre where tourS start from. THE rooms are simple and have eveything you need to sleep and shower for the next day. Very good for the price and we have traveled all over the world and stayed here easter weekend and loved it. Rooms were clean, but desk service was horrible - very slow and unprofessional. "Continental breakfast" is only available from 8-10AM and consists of a few danish under a napkin...and if you happen to have a morning meeting, you have to leave the hotel before anything is available. And there is VERY limited parking - not sure if there's even one space […] per room. Our friends made a better choice for a few dollars more staying at the Hotel Orchid - we saw if for ourselves - 1 minute away, same street, MUCH more professional AND parking for everyone!! Not as outdated as some said. was really clean. One bad thing was on the first night the pipes in the wall rattle every 10 min or so, but the 2ed night it didnt do it. The staff was nice. good hotel if you dont wanna spend a ton a night.

NICE HOTEL, CLOSE TO STARBUCKS (BIG PLUS FOR ME!) AND NEXT DOOR TO A GAS STATION TOO!!! :) The only thing I would recommend the hotel is to change the continental breakfast hours to earlier than 0800-1000 hrs.

The hotel is in a very good location. All the attractions in Hollywood are a block away. The hotel, though, is old, and once inside the room, it felt like a motel. It was kept clean, but it had this old feeling to it. The bathroom had a stand-up shower only, with no room to bend (when I needed to clean my feet after I got back from the beach.) But the […] ample water flow and ample hot water made up for the small space. They have a tiny breakfast room, and the breakfast included cold creasants and muffins, bagels, bread and cereals. There was only one person sitting at the front desk, and that basically seemed to be the "staff"; that person was polite and helpful. Nothing fancy (the shower was tiny and all furnishings were well worn) but the room was clean. The location was great, we could walk to everything we wanted to see. This hotel is perfect if you want to see the popular Hollywood destinations and not spend much time in the room.

fantastic location. clean enuf rooms, and big ones too. don't expect much but you didn't pay much either. great value.

if you like Bleach, you should stay here. the bottom line is you get what you pay for. expect the worst and do not hope for the best.

Strictly basics and nothing special, but that is enough for a cheap alternative in a very pricey area . Use the money you save on meals and tourist stuff and use this place just to sleep and park.

The location was great! Only 1 block away from Hollywood Blvd. The room was clean & huge! The hotel employees were friendly & helpful. The only downfall was the parking situation. We had 2 cars in our party and were only accomodated for one. My sister had to park in the mall structure and pay an extra $20/night. Don`t stay here, unless you only care about the location!! The service was bad, the hotel looks awfull, both on the outside and on the inside! The bathroom was not clean! The room was dark, with no windows! Bad smell! We only stayed at Liberty for one nigth, that was more than enough!!

The location is great! Close to everything. The hotel looks like an apartment building that was turned into a hotel. The room was very quiet, probably one of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in. If you don't want to spend a lot this is the hotel for you.

The room was really large, with a kitchenette and large bathroom. The bed was comfy. While it does have free wifi, it was a bit on and off. The hotel is very well placed; It is walking distance to Hollywood/Highland station and many bus stops. When you have explored the sights around Hollywood, the bus and subway are an easy way to see the rest of LA. […] There are plenty of places to eat along Hollywood Blvd. Eventhough it is so close to Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave it is really quite throughout the day and night. Overall it was friendly, clean and very very very close to all that you need in Hollywood. The staff was very friendly. The only cons for me would be that I could not find a single outlet to plug anything in except the one in the bathroom! It was not convenient. The lighting was very very dim. Possui instalações bastante simples, porém muito bem conservadas e limpas. O serviço de limpeza dos quartos é impecável e o café da manhã suficientemente bom. A localização é um grande diferencial, este hotel fica exatamente atrás do Kodak Theater, praticamente no centro de tudo que acontece em Hollywood.

La ubicación es excelente, pero la habitación que nos toco que fue la hab 111, estaba muy descuidada, el baño sucio, y de hecho se me cayo mi cabeza la cortina de baño, ya que todo el mobiliario es muy viejo, y hay humedad en el techo del baño, las ventanas no se pueden abrir, la vdd con ganas de cambiarnos , solo ue la ubicación esta excelente, y el […] servicio en recepción excelente , solo que el hotel necesita urgentemente una remodelación, pues para la tarifa que cobran es mucho! アメニティは同ランクホテルでは比較的充実してます。(シャンプー、リンス、石鹸＋ボディクリーム、鼻呼吸サポーター) シャワーの温度がいまいち安定しなかった点、プラグが接続されている壁がボコボコで、使いにくかった点のみが残念。 ハリウッドハイランドへのアクセスも抜群で、夜も静かに寝られました。 オススメです！

tres bon hotel bien situé et bon prix

Je le recommande uniquement pour sa situation, à 2 minutes à pied du coeur d'Hollywood. Sinon les chambres sont très grandes mais le confort et la propreté sont très sommaires.

Hôtel très simple mais avec tous le nécessaire pour les personnes preferents l utilitaire au bling bling. Seul petit bémol la qualité du petit dej. Situations excepetionnelle, a un bloc du cinema chinois et walk of fame. Parking a disposition inclu dans le séjour.

Bon emplacement pour ce petit hôtel avec parking mais état assez pitoyable. Hôtel plutôt "roots", il vaut mieux le savoir. Propreté plus que moyenne (la laverie en particulier est dans un état terrible !). Quand à la gestion nous n'avons pas vu souvent les même personnes durant les 3 nuits passées dans cet hôtel... le petit déjeuner avait 30 mn de retard […] un matin et impossible d'avoir une couverture supplémentaire le soir car la personne à l'accueil n'avait accès à rien (juste au téléphone semble t'il...).
